  1. Don't let the bass run with your bait, that gives him or her to much time to swallow the hook.
  2. I'm in a really sad mood right now :'(. I lost this ponds only 6 + pounder it has produced since 1999. There is really no point to this thread I just had to vent my frustration >. If anyone cares I was using a Lucky Craft deep diver crankbait. :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :( :( :( :( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(
  3. I would say about 6 lbs. I could be wrong though just a vague guess.
  4. x2. That line is a very managable and far casting line. Use KVD Line and Lure Conditioner when spooling to make cast even further.
  5. Great fish sounds like you had a blast!!!! What jig and trailer were you using, if you don't mind telling me?
  6. Save yourself some trouble and get Mega Strike.

Yep, his tournament before Kerr was on Gaston and he said he caught all bed fish on shakey headed Zoom Baby Brush Hog.
  8. Even though I don't like the way the Bluefish taste, they sure are a blast to catch!
  9. I have got a Quantum Code also, and I can't complain.
  10. There is nothing better than a Rapala Fat DT 3.
  11. That fish sure doesn't look like 18 1/2 lbs. but I could be wrong. Thats just my opinion.

The shakey head can be a great fish to get those finicky fish into biting. My favorite shakey head is the Buckeye Lures Spot Remover 1/4 oz. My favorite worm is Roboworm Zipper Shakin' worm in Aaron's Magic color.
  13. Never had that happen with birds, but plenty of times with cats. BTW, that is a nice looking jig combo!!!!!!!!
  14. Should be great for what you want to use it for.
  15. I am more of a plain flavor type of guy. Vanilla all the way.
  16. If you ever do decide to switch to baitcasters the one key thing to keep in mind is practice, practice, practice, and more practice!!!!!!!
  17. I like to use lipped crankbaits for banging the bottom or crashing the rocks. Lipless crankbaits are better suited for grass and covering a lot of water.
  18. Cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 8-)
  19. Is there such a thing as a cousin-in-law?
  20. aarogb replied to geckert's topic in Southeast Bass Fishing
My cousin just texted me from his tournament on Kerr today and said he got 16 bass. 2 on a Senko, 4 on a popper in the morning, and about 10 on a shakey head.
  21. Ask Senko_77. He is a member of this forum that has been seen in his girlfriends (Might be his, but we are giving him the benefit of the doubt) American Eagle Jackets. I'm sure he can give you a straight up, non-biased, truthful answer that is based on his experience with the clothes mentioned above : :D :D
  22. I would almost eat one myself!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  23. CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  24. What ever is the fishes favorite .
  25. It should. I have always been told to just cut your line and the hook will rust out; don't know if that is true but it's the only thing I have heard so I just do it.
