  1. I'm familiar with Kudzu. My dad was from Georgia, and our younger daughter lives in Georgia. I've seen where it has completely taken over fields and pastures as well as killed off stands of trees. I did not realize it would invade ponds as well. That being the case, the Kudzu may be worse than this stuff, since it definitely spreads faster. I hate Kudzu, the stuff is every where. It literally grows 3' in one day.
  2. Those are some nice fish!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Keep it up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  3. OUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  4. I have only seen it at one store which is TexasBassTackle.com. I would go with the Bucco. Even though I haven't fished it before I love exposed reel seats because they add a little bit more sensitivity in my mind. Also the Bucco looks better .
  5. spinnerbait rods run a little on the short side because accuracy is much more important than distance with spinnerbaits. the shorter the rod, the more accurately you can place the spinnerbait. shorter rods are also easier to work under overhanging limbs and such. as for my favorite, i've discovered a lot of rods will work decently with spinnerbaits BUT the g.loomis SBR-713C is the best. x2 on the reason why spinnerbait rods are short.
  6. I have MAJOR allergy problems in my right eye only, but it has never been in my left eye. It gets so bad sometimes that I have to just take my contacts out and wear my glasses. Do you guys know of a solution to get these allergies out of right eye so I can wear my contacts more? I have been to my eye doctor but he hasn't seemed to help me much.
  7. Why do you say that?
  8. Sounds like you had some great fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope you catch many more!!!!!!!
  9. I have always heard that doughballs did pretty good.
  10. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your talent could get you some coinage.
  11. x2. Mega Strike gets the lookers into eaters.
  12. I have a All Star Pro Series 6'6" MH rod that I use for spinnerbaits. It does O.K. for me.
  13. This is going to be hard to do but it is imperative that you wait about 3 seconds before you set the hook on a frog. You are still going to lose some fish but your hookup ratio should be better.
  14. x2. These are the best jerkbaits on the market.
  15. The link doesn't work.
  16. No offense but that's what I call the BIG NASTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  17. Get you some GOLD SENKOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  18. All the Gulp! products freshwater or saltwater seem a little to "stiff" to have a good action on them. I will stick with the Senko.
  19. I would probably make my drag settings looser and always check for knicks in the line. Also, always make sure you have tied a perfect knot before you make your first cast!!!!! But, with that said going up to 10 or 12 pound test wouldn't hurt. Experiment with these two solutions, you might notice that no. 1 works better in your situation. It will also save you some coin so you don't have to buy new spools of line.
  20. I don't think it really matters. I believe that as long as it is digging into the bottom and it has a paint scheme of a crawfish I honestly believe that the bass don't notice which way it is swimming.
  21. Cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sounds and looks like you guys had a great time!!!!!!!!!!!!

I prefer Charmin. If it is good enough for bears it is good enough for me.
  23. The most imperative thing to know is that you MUST have a sharp knife!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
