Nope I don't do it, but I have thought about it. All of my baits I use have plenty of salt already in them so I just leave it for the french fries.

Every time that I am out on the water I always have trouble reading my sonar. When I look down at it I will see a ledge or hump but I have no idea where to cast at for my bait to hit the ledge or other underwater structure. Is it to the right to the left or right behind me? I have no idea. I look at the the sonar at the steering wheel of the boat because I do not have one at the bow. BTW, my unit is a Lowrance HDS series 7.

I saw the new tungsten weights on ***'s website and it said the bullet weights were all chrome. My question is could you paint the weights a different color like black or brown so you don't have to pay extra for already colored weights? If so please include what type of paint would be best for doing this.

Mine frog setup is soon to be a Team Daiwa L & T frog rod. I am going to get the 7'3" model and team it with 65 lb. Power Pro braided line. For the reel I am going to get a Quantum Code Red in a 7.1:1 gear ratio.

I think the Power-Pro is the best braid. As for line size I wouldn't go below 50 lbs.
