biggest ever caught would probably be 165 pound Tarpon in St. Augustine , Fl. I was on the rocks and fought that thing for 30 mins running up and down the shore. Talk about a fight

as a co-angler = 01 Tr21 with a 225 optimax... It blew up and we had to troll the whole day.. still managed 10th out of 50 something boats tho ;D as a boater= 15 ft alumacraft .. and wouldn't you know i won.. hopefully thats not gonna vex me the rest of my days lol

I fished non-boater for a few years and heres what i learned : ALWAYS watch the guy up front. I always watched where each of his casts landed and i tried to avoid that. I picked apart just about everything the guy in front gave me. Reality is he cant hit evrything and normally he is gonna make flips and pitches to the "primo" looking spots. In the back you need to hit everything and be thorough.. the fish will come! ALSO i always tried to to do something diffeerent than the guy up front.. i never liked the idea of throwing the same bait back to back. I felt like throwing something different( even something slight like a color change) was going to increase my chances for a bite and a win. Hopefully that helps. Good luck and Tight Lines! -Chaz-

with temps like that i say they are gonna be either up on the beds or really close to being there.. toss a jig or crank around .. possibly a senko.. just stay versatile... look on main lake points and also secondary points in coves.. you should be able to pick up something.. let the fish tell you what to do from there

well when its spawning time you cant beat a jig or a texas riggged lizard... I also love a Bang-o-lure up shallow... they seem to love em when they are in the spawning mood

yea never heard that about this weekend... but i have caught a few 7s down there so i wouldn't imagine a 10 being too far fetched... it can be a tremendous fishery it the spring

Trust me tNH these guys can be ruthless but try to take something away from it... They wouldn't be saying much if they didn't want to help. A little constructive criticism can go a long way ;D
