  1. Thats a bad looking reel right there... so how much does 55,000 yen equate to be in US? lol
  2. i also sit at home at night and mess around with my tackle out in the garage... essentially i have 10 3700 series boxes for various types of baits( cranks/ jerks/ traps, senko, fluke, floating worm, craw/ creature, worms, finesse, topwater, tubes, frogs).. then i have two smaller 2-sided plano boxes that use( one for hooks and shakey heads and the other for weights as well as swivels, pegs, and beads.) then i have two zip soft sided cases that i use( one for spinnerbait/ buzzbait and the other for Jig+pig). i store all of this in a BPS 370 bag. well technically not all because i never bring all 10 3700 boxes.. normally only six for the bodies of water i fish.. anyways i hope that helps ya!
  3. i agree with both the guys above me haha
  4. e21 for me! lovin the carrot stiks!
  5. they are pretty sensitive... i have one and have gotten good use out of it!
  6. lets see what you fellas favorite rods are!!
  7. well as much as i love quantum reels i dont have many great things to say about there rods... they are OK but i think you can get a better rod in there price range.. If i was you i would go with a carrot stik... they are super light and very sensitive and only cost 149.95.. for flipping i would go with a 7'6 H
  8. i dunno why people knock quantum so bad but i love em.. i also like to stick with only one brand and im definitely a quantum fan... the new catalyst's and energys are top notch IMO... i definitly got to recommend quantum
  9. fished a tournament on a local lake this past saturday.. me and my partner ended up finishing second with 20.10 lbs on 5... my partner anchored the weight with a 8.2 lb hawg and i backed him up with a 5.7 lber... a very productive day on the water id say
  10. Jonny morris reels are OK but i was never to keen on the BPS reels.. they always ust felt cheap to me.. just guess its a matter of opinon i suppose... anyways i would reccomend a quantum catalyst or a energy... very good reels for the money
  11. my hands down favorite is IZORLINE XXX.. very castable, very tough, and very affordable
  12. i would stick with the 12 if i was you.. i reccomend IZORLINE XXX.. very castable yet very durable as well.. also is very affordable
  13. the revos are good reels but i would reccomend a quantum catalyst.. its a bit more expensive but well worth the money in the long run
  14. i like the tru-tungsten

    gamakatsu for me
  16. mine is a custom made popper called the krank bait... made right here locally in virginia and those things are fish catching machines!
  17. my suggestions are repetitive as well... IZORLINE XXX in 8lb for the spinning rod and 15lb XXX for the baitcasters.
  18. tru-tungsten makes some like you are describing... they are IKEs featured shakey head.. i do believe they are called grass busters or something like that.. they are very good and very sensitive but highly expensive...
  19. I got six of them and love them!!!! i have to admit they are the best rod i have ever fished with.. and yes i have owned my share of loomis and st. croix rods! i just really like how light they are and how much you can actually feel with them.. the reel seat is ingenious! also people are shying away from the because of the eyes but i assure you... THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THEM!!!! i have had mine for well over a year now and have had no problems.. that includes BRAID! so go ahead people.. join the club.. Fish a carrot stik and you wont go back! ;D
  20. i think it will work for either one but better for jerkbaits definitely.
  21. i would use 8lb IZORLINE XXX on the spinning reel. The Ambassaduer sounds like a cranking reel with the medium action rod so i would use 12lb IZORLINE XXX on that and 15 lb IZORLINE XXX on the Black Max here is the link : www.IZORLINEEAST.com
