Ive been looking at a St. Croix mojo 6' 8" m xf rod for my new spinning setup. I noticed that they make the Legend Tournament in the same configuration. I have several rods similar in quality and have never owned one of the higher end rods. Is the quality of the rod worth the $140 difference? If the sensitivity is alot better i may have to try one out.

Yea let's here some more about "the juice"!! I've never thought about soaking my plastics in anything, I always just spayed them when I use them.

Anyone ever fished it? My brother lives a few miles from it and i plan on visiting him sometime in May. I googled it but couldnt find much info about it. I couldnt even find a list of what species are in it. I think it runs into percy preist but not sure. If anyone knows where i can find some info on it let me know. Thanks

Hey guys, Im planning on taking a trip to one of those fly in camps in canada to catch northern pike. Ive been researching them on the web. I was just wonder if anyone has any recomendations?

I was in destin FL may 24-29 and there was no sign of oil. The beaches were full of people. The fishing boats were all booked up to. It doesnt look like it has hurt them yet.

I would also recommend replacing the metal tank with a plastic tank. However if you decide to keep it check the intake tube inside the tank, and make sure it is still attached. I had one fall off before and my fuel bulb would not prime. Hope that helps.

Anyone fish from the beach in Destin,FL? Im going there the end of May on vacation with my family, and plan on doing some fishing. What kinds of fish do you normally catch from the beach? Is it common to catch snook from the beach? I will most likely be fishing at daybreak and just before dark.

I was able to get out there the day before V-day with my son. We only fished for a couple hours before it got dark. We didnt catch any fish or even get a bite but still had a blast. The surface temp was 38 and the air temp was 40 with little to no wind. I was fishing a jig&pig along a creek channel around some trees. What would you have done different?

Has anyone fished here lately? If so how did you do? I drove out there in january when the temp was in the low teens for a couple weeks, and the whole lake was froze over. There were shad all around the banks frozen in the ice, im starting to think maybe the bass are getting hungry by now? I might try to get over there V-day if i can talk my wife into it.

What advice would you give someone who grew up fishing the banks, and is ready to move away from the bank and learn how to fish the deeper water structure?

If it was a 4x4 it would definately be sitting on 1 ton running gear and some boggers! I will post a final pic some day in the distant future, may take a year or two. I want to make sure we get it right. Oh and yes it is a short bed fleetside.

I just picked up a 1970 c10 for $750! It has no motor or trans but the body is in good shape. I plan on putting a 5.3/4l60e combo in it and doing a frame off resto on it. It will be a great project for me and my son. Im just not sure exactly what we are gonna do with it other than the motor and transmission. Anyone else done a project like this? Have any recomendations? How did yours turn out?

You make a good piont those are a few thing i never thought about. I thought it was all about the megapixles, shows what i know.

Im thinking about buying my wife the D3000 for x-mas. She has a kodak easyshare now, i cant remember the model #. It does good for close pictures but you cant take any far away,and it has a 2 sec. shutter delay so its hard to get a good action picture. I was thinking of the nikon because its good reputation plus Ashton Kutcher uses one on tv so it has to be good right? ;D. So has anyone had any experience with this camera or maybe another camera of similar quality?
