A Bunch of Drop shot questions
1a - different shapes travel across the bottom differently. If you aren't in rocks, I would just go with whatever's cheapest. 1b. You'll get the feel for how to shake/move the bait. Tungsten lets you feel the bottom make-up better. No different than using it for T-rigs. 2. Cover vs. no cover 3. Only as it affects your desired depth above the bottom.

Also, the Crystal is a fusion.

Angler success : 99 % location/ 1% everything else???
This pretty much sums things up. Thread over.

Actual drag pressure of Revo's and other low profile baitcasting reels?
Tell that to the posse. ;D

duckett rodshry
I'm pretty sure you're going to find that to be nothing more than rumor. No way they are built using a blank that costs more than the finished rod, LOL. Ahh, I thought it was confirmed on here.

duckett rodshry
If it's true they are built on the NFC blanks, how can you go wrong with them?

Best way to cut braid?
x2. Get a Lansky.

Fluoro Leader
1 - 2 rod lengths for me.

Zoom Brush Hogs
They're the same as the Yum Dinger, made by the same mfctr. They fish fine; I've used Yamamoto's but switched to these because I can't tell a difference but my wallet can. Make sure you buy as many bags of the Dents N Dings as the site allows because those are a true killer deal.

Zoom Brush Hogs
Straight shank with heat shrink shaped for your keeper just like Adam said. Braid will help your hook percentage, though, but the ultimate issue is the EWG.

question about a pro qualifier
I believe the ProQ normally comes with 4 on (they slide out and touch the race on the inside of the side cover). You'll only want 2 on (or 1 and some mag brakes on), unless your new to BC's. They snap outward for "on" and snap inward for "off".

seaguar red label, mistake??
I use it. It's very comparable to Bpro's XPS fluoro. It's cheap because it was one of the earliest Seaguar's fluoro so it's been out for a while. They have other types for different price-points.

Johnny Morris Carbon black Reel??
Don't trade in your old beloved JM just for the discount. Find another reel or get one of their $5 reels and use that for a trade in.

Underrated reel!!!
Mag brakes?

KVD's new square bill crankbait - and he wins it!
Or his new crankbaits. Wonder why there hasn't been any Classic winning bait threads? Seems odd; thought for sure there'd be a bunch....

Rod for Shimano Curado 201E7
Whatever you get, make sure it's also a left-handed rod to match the 201.

Classic winning lure
What color and trailer did he have on his chatterbait(s)? Inquiring minds want to know. 8-) Boyd produced a serious bag as well. Green Pumpkin with a watermelon red lake fork magic shad trailer.. With a skirt, or without a skirt?

Baitcaster for St Croix LTB Rod
Get a Zillion. It'll take some work/time to get it under $200 but it's doable. Note, I only recommend it because you want something different (plus it's a great great reel). All of those reels you have listed, and the Patriarch, are all excellent.

bass pro shops prolite special
Looks like another variation of the Pro Qualifier.

Tough Practice so Far for the Classic
In the words of Denny Brauer - "that's 17 lbs you won't catch in this tourney now."

Curado 50e question...
In case you haven't, make sure you handle several, particularly out of the box so you have a good sample size.

You better be careful, Pantera - you could be the Jonathon E of this board...
