The man putting on that seminar was Elwood L. " Buck" Perry, not only did I buy his books but I became a devout student of his teachings. I took what Buck taught about deep structure fishing and applied it to Toledo Bend. #4: A devout student of Bill Murphy: Finding & understanding deep structure, Douglas Hannon & Shaw Grisby: Understanding bass behavior, Rick Clunn: Mental aspects of bass fishing, & Bobby Murray: Big bass can be caught on light line

Catt Note: I don't consider that commit a brand war but I feel my Calcutta's are at the top and if anything I could make a lateral move to Calais's. Hum that's easy Toledo Bend mid-July dead calm with temperatures in the lower 100s & the humidity in the upper 90s; you can't stay on the water past 10:00 am. A couple years back I recall it being 96 degrees with the humidity above 90 % at 2 o'clock in the morning.

I set the brakes all the same on every Shimano I own, 3 of the 6 or every other pin are on; I throw every thing from wacky rigs to ¾ oz jigs. I hear clients and customers tell me the same thing; you have to change the setting with different weight lures; I always reply why not truly learn how to use a bait caster and educate your thumb. I do the same with the little tension knob on the right hand side; I set it once and never move it again.
