  1. K.I.S.S. I use the same jig for all applications
  2. Ok there is another jig that does the same thing, slid the line through the head, tie on a split ring and the slide the spit ring over the hook. I've seen that jig some where I'm gonna look in my old tackle boxes.
  3. Ask the people in Oklahoma, Kansas, & Missouri if they believe in Global Warming? I remember the same thing last year

  5. It was said that Earl Anthony would never make it as a Pro because of his style; 10 Professional Major Titles (6 PBA National Championships, 2 Firestone Tournament of Champions, and 2 ABC Masters Champions) are the most by any bowler. Anthony also won seven PBA Senior Tour titles for 48 total PBA Tour titles.

Growing up in southwest Louisiana I not only had the privilege of knowing Paul (Dud) Dudley Faulk, I also worked (cleaning the shop, running errands, & delivering calls) for him and hunting with him. The only other calls I use are Eli Haydel Game Calls

Dan asked for a combination varmint/deer rifle; the .243 fits this bill perfectly and the ammo is more readily available in small town stores where most hunting is done.

Cartridge: .243 Winchester 100 grains Recoil energy: 8.8 Recoil velocity: 8.7 Cartridge: .270 Winchester 130 grains Recoil energy: 16.5 Recoil velocity: 11.3 Cartridge: 7mm-08 Remington 140 grains Recoil energy: 12.6 Recoil velocity: 10.1 Cartridge: 45-70 Government 300 grains Recoil energy: 23.9 Recoil velocity: 14.8 The .243 would be best because you can get bullets light enough varmints or heavy enough for deer The 7mm-08 Remington is a fine cartridge but you will have problems finding them. The .45-70 Government's recoil is scary for a seasoned shooter and at 300 grains it's over kill for most deer. Here's a link that may help you out http://www.chuckhawks.com/index2d.rifles.htm
