  1. Academy Sports & Outdoors has a brand new ABU GARCIA AMBASSADEUR 5500 C3 for $68.46
  2. Saints all the way
  3. Dude I was raised/live on the Louisiana/Texas Gulf coast and have worked in almost every refinery from Baton Rouge to Texas City. The leak at the refinery in Texas didn't shut it down completely, when a disaster occurs at one refinery the others up their out put. This is a load of BS the media uses to justify the high oil/gas prices >

Fish the same baits, same locations, and same techniques you would during the day.

Tiger Stadium is known for night games, an idea that was first introduced in 1931 against Spring Hill (a 35-0 LSU victory). In 2006, LSU celebrated its 75th year of playing night football in Tiger Stadium. Since that first night game in 1931, LSU has played the majority of its games at night, 263 night games vs 49 day games. So don't blame the heat for Notre Dame's losses to LSU
  7. Now that's funny right there
  8. I don't know about Gander Mountain but Academy starts their employees at $7:00 per hour. Gas prices are going down but it has nothing to do with oil refineries being back to full capacity because they were back to full capacity since shortly after Katrina & Rita.

LBH muddy can't even catch a bass on a jig how do you expect him to catch one on a swimbait?

It's not the number of times someone falls that counts but the number of times he gets up Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend Proverbs 27:17
  14. Y'all ever crawl up under the console of a Kenner, Bay Stealth, NauticStar, Triton, Ranger, or Skeeter bay boat? The wiring is no different than that found in most bass boats; there are no special coatings, no environmental seals, just plan ole wiring connectors. Your so called freshwater outboard will be fine in saltwater; just flush it with freshwater when you get home & the same for your trolling motor. lPa1nl what model Minn Kota do you have, I'm not aware of any that has a magnesium shaft.
  15. There craw worm work great as a jig trailer or Texas rigged
  16. Your main concern would be weather, keep an eye on the sky
  17. This is the type of structure I fish all the time, spend some time graphing the area looking for places that drop from 15' to 25-30'. Anchor on the drop-off; work the area 360 degrees around the boat with Texas Rigs, Carolina Rigs, or Jig-N-Craws. Drop-offs are associated with a sudden change in depth contour rather than a submerged channel. Inactive bass often suspend over the drop-off; active fish feed near the top of the drop, and then descend into deep water when danger threatens.

Muddy I would also suggest read every thing you can about finding/understanding structure & memorize what Matt Fly wrote about bait fish. To consistently catch big bass one must understand their basic environmental needs.
  19. Of all the things you do this is #1
  20. Texas Rigged plastic
  21. While I've caught bass in 25 to 35' on Texas Rigs; my question would be if it's that deep 30 yards from shore how deep is it from shore out to the 25' drop?
  22. If y'all want an extension handle like those I've got two (14 & 23) I'll ship either one to y'all far free
