Now before you go telling somebody to look at a stat sheet, perhaps you should do the same before smashing LeBron so much. You can VERY easily make the argument that Wade "quit" (not that I think either of them did), not LeBron. Statistically, James played far better during the series. For some reason though the entire blame is being placed on him. I'm not asking anybody to change their opinions, you're more than entitled to them. At least base that opinion on something substantial instead of just what the media has selected to tell you. Thats partially why I posted the link I did in a previous post, besides the fact that it's a good read. LeBron had one of the best overall single seasons that we've seen in a long time, yet if you listen to the watercooler talk and the media, you'd instantly guess that he did absolutely nothing during the year. BTW, in response to you're quote: Nobody has shot like the Mavs ever have in a Finals series. Thus the reason what they did was just spectacular. They were dropping bombs left and right like there was no tomorrow.

Definitely sad how the entire planet is going out of their way to hammer a 26 year old kid. Thats right, he's a kid. Going to be interesting to see what happens when he does get his first ring. Was definitely the Mavs time. The rim must have seemed like is was 4 foot wide to them. I've never seen such a ridiculous display of shooting like that.

Well, there is definitely a first time for everything. First time in the 30 years I've been fishing that I hooked myself. Had just beached the boat and was grabbing a rod to unload my gear and my hand slipped right into a crankbait. The old braid trick just wasn't working. Apparently I cut the hook shank a bit short and the braid was just slipping off. Not fun. Needless to say a quick trip to see the doctor was needed. Good bit of lidocaine and some tugging and pulling and it's out. The stinkin local shots hurt more than the hook going in did. I now understand how much getting hooked really sucks. As much as I fish by myself, I'm definitely considering de-barbing a bunch of hooks. That could have been a problem if it happened while I was out in the middle of the lake or something.

Was a great game for a while tonight. Some completely classless fans in that building tonight though. Booed the entire time the trophies were being handed out. I know I'm not the only one who saw the stuff flying from the stands when Chara was hoisting the trophy. Sad. Congrats to the Bruins and their fans everywhere.

Possibly because KVD hasn't "dominated." The last few years, the AOY crown has been a very tight race. If he was just blowing away the competition it may be a different story. Again this year, it's coming right down to the wire. Who knows who will actually win it this year. I'd love to see Evers come away with it. He's in a great position to do so.

Good stuff right there. I haven't been able to do as much blue water fishing in Jamaica as I've wanted. The few times I have though, it's been a complete blast. Heck of a fishery there. Those 150 pounders are just good fun. Nothing backbreaking, but still a nice exciting fight. The handful of really big fish I've landed have really been special fish. The ones I've lost have been just as memorable. There is almost nothing cooler than watching a giant marlin walking across the water a few hundred yards behind the boat. The only drawback is how sore you can be afterwards. Bet it was an awesome trip for you. Especially since it's probably something that you don't get to do all that much.

I use a 7'2" Crucial with a 2500 Sahara mounted on it for all of my DS and lightweight stuff. Couldn't be happier with that combo.

Got home a little while ago. Good game. Great series. Congrats to the Mavs. Congrats to Mark Cuban for amazingly keeping his mouth shut for so long. Now Pat Riley gets to work on his master plan some more. This was the worst Heat team there will be for the next few years. They had no business getting this far with the roster they had. There were moments during the game when I thought I was looking at a pickup game at a Miami retirement home. I've said it once, and I'll always say it. Lets go Heat! There will still be a new banner going up in the AAA. There is still a new trophy getting put into the case. Not one reason at all to complain.

Man. You aren't kidding. I checked the 10 day outlook on my phone two days ago and it showed rain every day for the next week. I've yet to see a drop. Looks like a lot of fun right there. Man you can tell how low the water is in those pics.

There are days where it's so hot and humid down here that I'll literally sweat in the shower. Gotta love this time of the year in Florida! Don't know what the actual temp was today, but it felt like it was close to 1000.....

Good call, Fishingkid. I saw it earlier, thought it was uncalled for and expected it to get pulled rather quickly. You did the right thing.

I love using a snell for most hooks. Line doesn't really matter, though you do need to be careful when using fluoro. Like Francho, I've only been using it for a year or so for Bass fishing. Been tying it forever on some of my saltwater reef fishing rigs though. Once you get the hang of it, it becomes a very easy and quick knot to tie up.

Honestly, I'd rather not say. Be assured that it's not Wade or James though. Lol

Either an Octopus hook like Francho posted, or an Owner XXX straight shank. Both of them are fantastic hooks. That Octopus hook is great. You get a very wide bite with it. You d**n sure arent going to bend it either. I use the 5/0 and 6/0 sizes for that hook. Lots of different sizes on the Owner. I use the owner for darn near everything though. Great worming hook.

I'd put both Wade and Dirk over Kobe. Hell, LeBron is a better "player" than Kobe at this point. Kobe has aged very quickly. He's not old, but he's been playing in the NBA for quite a while now. He's no longer in the prime of his career. As far as tickets, I get a discount because of the tickets I hold. I'm also friends with one of the players (played ball with him for four years in school) as well as a front office member of the organization. Lets just say that I'm not paying full price.

Boy, bet you all thought I forgot about this thread! Had some surgery done during the morning of game two, went to the game and basically crashed ever since. Finally back to being my normal super homer self. Hell of a comeback by the Mavs in game two. Great finish to game three. Looking forward to another tonight. If the Heat would actually play a good game, they would have stomped the Mavs into submission by now. Been a good series so far. Hope it stays that way. Would like Miami to win tonight, then lose the next game so they could win the title at home. I guess that's just me being the selfish ticket holding fan though. As long as they win it all, it really doesn't matter where they do it.

All I'll say is Maurice Clarett. But lets not delve into that fiasco. USC just got stripped of a title in a game that they certainly won. I wasn't speaking anything about the game. I doubt it'll happen, but Tressel was in charge, etc etc. You never know what the heck the NCAA is going to do. I honestly don't think the NCAA knows what they're going to do until somebody says it in front of a microphone.

I'm wondering when it's going to get announced that the NCAA will be stripping Ohio State of the 02 title.
