Doberman Breeders?
I've had two Dobies. Great dogs. I would have bought a third, but I wanted a smaller dog that wasn't going to crush my junk each time they leap onto the couch. I'll look around to see if I still have the info for my breeder that I went to before.

Lox Road Fishing Report
I'd be very surprised if you caught a snake head out at Lox. I'd be willing to bet it was a Mudfish. They both look very similar. As far as what to do, keep trying. The fish are there. The spillways almost always hold fish. Especially if the water is pumping. Find moving water and you'll be in the right areas. Of course there are those days that it seems like nothing works. I've learned from my time at Lox to keep everything simplified. Big worms, dippers/EZ's, traps, and senkos are usually all you need to have a good day. If you're there earlier, or later in the day, a frog or a spook is a great way to get a bite out there. d**n good fun too. With the water levels back up right now, there should be some actively feeding fish. Finding them is an entirely different story.

Anyone Use Snaps For Cranks With Success?
I've been using a Duo-lock style snap for a long time for cranks without any problems. I remove the split rings on my cranks and just clip the snap straight onto the lure. Makes for nice very quick lure changes. Like Wayne mentioned, I've got a couple different sizes if I'm worried about the weight of the snap changing the action of something that suspends like a jerkbait.

Insomniacs Unite!!! - The Late Night Crew
1:30 in the morning. I'm wide awake and have no idea why. Knowing that my kids are going to wake up at the crack of dawn on a Sunday is making me cringe. Tomorrow may end up being a long day unless I get some sleep. We've got all these 5 hour energy drinks to keep us up, wheres the 5 hour nap in a bottle?

The New Daily Driver Has Arrived.
Great looking truck, Robert. That thing'll haul the Ranger around without even sweating. The black bowties look darn good. You need to post up some after visiting the shop pics. Work hard, invest wisely, don't spend more than you earn. I'm on my....third business now. I can tell you from experience, it isn't easy. Find something that you enjoy doing first. If you don't like what you do, you won't put nearly enough effort into it. Part of becoming successful is learning from each mistake, and learning something each and every day. I'm not sure if I'm ready to consider myself a "success" yet. In one year, I've outgrown my property and am looking for a new building so we can continue growing. Thankfully I've built a client list that affords me the opportunity to continue moving up. There isn't much cold calling to do now to generate income. Almost all of my current business comes from repeat customers and people who have been referred to us. Customer service is key. Keep the client happy and you'll be happy in the long run. Having a d**n good person as your CPA sure helps also. Initially I thought I was going to owe money, she does her stuff and find out that I was owed over 10k.

Anybody Else Surprised?
Agreed. I can tell you from experience, there are some crazy freakin people that live in Orlando. It aint all magic and kittens because Disney is there. If she values her life at all, she better have already left or be getting ready to leave town.

Do you hunt?
When I was on active duty, I used to go Deer hunting all the time. Not so much now. I still make the occasional Turkey Hunt though. Wish I was able to do it more often. Fishing is my what I spend my time primarily with now.

Crankbait Storage
I write the depth as well as the weight of the lure on the belly of each of my cranks. makes it pretty much foolproof.

Anybody Else Surprised?
Couldn't have really said it any better. Somebody somewhere is responsible. I'm sure that the investigation will continue. Some day the truth will probably come out. I'm not surprised with the outcome.

Having No Luck At The Lox In S Florida
Still blows my mind every time I hear you say how slow you move those worms, Bruce. Obviously it works though. I certainly understand the purpose. I've done similar things with a 4.7:1 ratio reel before. I've just never tried it for worm fishing.

Tattoos?
I've got a few. Going to be getting more done eventually. Still trying to find a decent artist around here that can do portraits before I spend the cash for my next project.

Nathans Hotdog Contest
Kobayashi reportedly downed 69 en-route to breaking Chestnuts record. Hopefully he comes back in 2012 and they're going to go face to face again. Would be neat to watch. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/754916-nathans-hot-dog-eating-contest-2011-results-will-chestnut-or-kobayashi-win

I Lost My Best Friend Today.
Sorry to hear about it, Rhino. There aren't too many things that are more painful than the loss of a loved pet/family member. I still tear up from time to time when I think about the dog my family lost a few months ago. It does get better though. Just remember that all dogs do go up to doggy heaven. He's probably up there chewing away on a bone or two right now smiling down on you.

4Th Of July Photography Fun!
So each year I get to watch a great fireworks display from my backyard. I decided I'd actually play with my camera a bit and try to actually take a few decent pictures. These actually came out halfway decent for my first time using an old camera to take pictures of fireworks using manual settings. No more automatic button for me. Good times. Was a bit windy, and you can see it in a couple of the shots, still nothing to complain about. I aint no photographer after all. There aint no better way to celebrate the birth of your country than blowing up a small piece of it! Really bad quality video of the grand finale: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8mgEIObumEw

Who Would You Be If You Could Live The Life Of A Rock Star For A Year?
Aldous Snow (Infant Sorrow) - Get Him To The Greek God I love that movie. Really though, that's a hard choice. Simmons or Sinatra would be a really good choice. Though, there were tons of 80's bands frontmen that had some crazy good times.....

Fishing The Pit Tomorrow
Caught a ton of fish today. Nothing big though. I'll post up a couple of pics later if I actually get the urge. I'm absolutely drained right now. It's freakin hot. Like Africa hot outside right now. I would have loved to have a little rain while I was out today. No wind at all where I was. Almost everything came on a DD22 or other deep diver. Fish were mostly holding deep in 20 to 30 FOW on structure. Once the crank bite died, I was able to pick a few more off of each spot with a jig, worm, and a drop shot. Probably caught 40 to 50 fish in five hours or so. d**n shame that there weren't any really big fish. I flipped a couple of mats as I was getting ready to head in and lost an absolute horse. Probably should have had my flippin stick with me. I knew I was running the risk of losing a fish using the stuff I was. Never know until you try though.
