super glue works....sort of. Use an epoxy. There are tons of choices of fairly inexpensive two part epoxies that you just squirt out and mix with a toothpick or something and you're done. Gorilla Glue will work as well. Be forewarned, Gorilla Glue will expand as it dries. Don't go overboard with it.

Year round, all water temps. I've caught a bunch of fish this year dragging and hopping jigs up and down rocky drop offs and ledges. Just adjust your retrieve speed based upon the conditions.

I've done that before. Learned about it on a different website. You get a little more action just straight nose hooking the plastic. Threading it on like you mentioned is a little more subtle. I haven't really noticed a difference in the catch or hookup ratio. One of the key things to a drop shot is to not impart a ridiculous amount of action. In most cases just the motion from the boat will give you all the action you need. Occasionally popping the rod can also give you a reaction strike from those fish that were just sitting and staring at the lure. I've become a big fan of the drop shot this year. Oh, and it isn't just a typical "finesse" presentation. You can rig one up on heavier gear and really throw it into some nasty junk and pull out good fish.

Primarily a baitfish mimic. Colors: Light, medium, dark. I don't get too specific with colors. Just use something in one of the three primary shades and you should be fine.

I use a F150 with the 250 tow package on it to tow a 25' offshore boat with v8 275 on the back and have had absolutely no problems with it. That boat weighs far more than any bass boat. Like anything, if you take care of the vehicle, the vehicle will take care of you. If you drive like you have a functioning brain stem, you'll get good enough mileage. Theres no need to goose the throttle at every green light.

Toss them. Lots of times sharpening a hook is a quick remedy anyway. You remove the protective coating on the steel once you sharpen it. They'll begin to rust far quicker than normal. For the most part, hooks are cheap and should be treated as a replaceable item.

There aren't any boats on this lake. It's a private residential community. I think I'm the only person in the last eight months to actually put a boat in the water.

The PQ at the regular 100 bucks is a good deal. At 70 bucks it's a steal. The Citica is a solid choice also. You really can't go wrong with either reel. Personally, I'd pick the PQ while it's on sale and spend the 50 bucks you're saving on a new Citica and apply it to a better rod. Especially if you're going to be using jigs. I don't have a Compre but forum member Sqhertz has one or two and he likes them a lot. You can step up to something in the 150 dollar range with the money you save on the reel if you go with the PQ. You really start to get into some quality rods once you hit that price level.

You'll hear on and on about how bad BPS' customer service is from a lot of people. I personally have never had a problem with them. Thats one reason why I continue shopping there. Not once have I had an issue with a return, exchange, or whatever. Glad they handled the refund for you without a problem.

Both Lowes and Home Depot down by me still stock aluminum angle and box framing aluminum. Four or eight foot lengths. Like Rhino said, they carry it in several different gauges. It is fairly pricey when you get it through the major stores. You may find it cheaper at a smaller locally owned place.

Rofl I learned that lesson a long time ago offshore when I was Dolphin fishing. Brought a thirty pounder to the boat and my old man gaffed it. The fish said nuh uh, and took off. That gaff is resting somewhere in a thousand foot of water on the bottom of the Atlantic. Ever since then, we've only bought floating tools, or attached flotation of some kind to the things that don't.

It all depends on the hook. With straight shanks and offset shanks, the barb never comes out of the plastic. When you rig it, it finishes inside of the lure. With a hook like an EWG, because the point is in line with the eye, the barb will come out of the plastic when rigging. It's up to you if you want to skin hook it. That just depends on the area you're fishing in.
