  1. ok it is the motor on the unit. took it off and put outboard back on the boat.
  2. Ok I have a cmc p-130 trim and tilt unit on my 18 foot jon boat. It only works sometimes. I can hear the relays clicking and even bought new ones and still only clicking. Sometimes it goes up fast and other times very slow. What could be the problem with this and any ideas on how to fix it? Thanks for any help.
  3. We were using white and blue spinner baits. We were fishing out of Okeechobee just out of the river over on Kings Bar.
  4. Thanks. No they wanted to eat them. We very rarely take any home so I guess a fish here and there isn't to bad.
  5. Here are a few pics of the fish my 2 buddies caught on Sunday. I caught some just not like these. I still had a great time. Enjoy.
  6. Man that sucks! I recently got a boat and I told my buddies that when they go we split everything and if they don't like it they don't have to come. Some try and "forget" to give me there share but I have one of my buddies always ask what do I owe you for the drinks or whatever we need for that trip.
  7. awesome job you guys. i sure after a trip like that he's going to after you all the time to take him fishing. nice fish.
  8. Thank you for the info. Don't think I can make it this time. :'( Is it ok that my boat is a 18 foot jon boat? It has a live well and all. I don't want to make the trip in the future if I won't be able to enter because I don't have a bass boat. I hope some day to get one but this one is a great starter boat. Thanks again for the info and good luck on Sunday. Let me know how you do.

  11. Hello everyone. Ok just bought some horny toads by zoom because the bass here on Okeechobee have been going crazy over them. So with that said here is my question do you run the hook over the top of the frog or under it in the slit that is there. Second question is why does my frog rule over on it's back when I retrieve it and I had it hooked both ways. One more question when the bass explode on my top water bait do I have to wait a second or so before trying to set the hook? Can't wait to here your tips on my issue.
  12. thanks everyone for the info. i guess i'm gonna have to start tryin out this jig fishin.
  13. Never fished a jig before and I am wondering do you fish it like a worm and if so is the stike the same feeling as the worm? What time of year should I use one? Thanks for the advise.
  14. good to hear you got your gear back. i just hooked into a rod and reel about a week ago. I couldn't believe it when I pulled it up. I figured the reel was shot but when I tryed to cast it across the canal it almost went the whole way acrossed so I guess I just got a new setup for the collection.
  15. thank you for the sites to check out.
  16. Hello everyone. I am looking for a bass club in okeechobee. I know there are clubs that fish okeechobee but I'm looking for a local club so I don't have to travel much due to always working long hours.
  17. Man I wish I had caught that hawg. Great looking fish.
  18. I believe it is called the cut, it's near the buckhead ridge canal that leads into the lake. We used junebug and red junebug worms. As a matter of fact we had 3 or 4 more fish in the same range as those 2. They wouldn't bite on anything but the worms today.
  19. here are a couble pics of some of the fish we caught today. /img] g]
