Micheal Crabtree rookie diva
Already? He is already threatening to sit out his rookie season if he does not get more money. It is reasons like this that I would rather watch college football.I read the story on yahoo. I know some people might side with him, but I don't. What do ya'll think?

Were you paying attention?
I am not the person to do this, but I think someone should start a new thread about the differences between smallmouth and largemouth. The way they act, feeding habits, lure selections, etc. I would read that from top to bottom.

Hey Fishfordollars
We need a thread for Rayburn like Catt has for Toledo Bend. You seem like the expert on big sam. How about it?I personally don't know ANY humps or ridges in that lake. I need to learn that lake because it is an easier drive on my vehicle.

Anyone bass fish with a Deep V?
I don't fish from a alum deep v, but I do fish from a bay boat/center console. I have gone into 10" of water just fine. It's a Sea Chaser 175 RG if you wanna look at it. They are made by Carolina skiff but it's not a flat bottom skiff it's a v hull.

New to Jerkbaits
Are you cranking it down to it's max depth before you start your jerks? Give your reel handle about 8 cranks before you start your jerk/pause retrieve. Nice fish BTW

Bassin and Beer
This may be a touchy subject.Since I purchased my boat I have not mixed the two. When I am in another persons boat I will drink beer(not a lot), but not in mine. I do not like the idea of being intoxicated(even slightly) when my and whoever is in my boat safety is at risk. What are ya'lls thoughts on this subject?

New to Jerkbaits
I honestly do not know about LC's. But the way I fish jerks (mostly suspending jerks) is crank them down to the max diving depth, then pause. Jerk it a few times(usually 4-6)and pause. Mix up the # of jerks between pauses. On floating jerks I keep my pauses short. It just takes practice, and is one of my most productive styles of fishing.

A little Belton surprise
From what I hear, Lake Belton is a beautiful lake. I would love to try it. I was told there is some decent smallmouth there.

which baitcaster?
- too shallow?
2 ft is not too shallow. It may be too shallow certain times of year with high water temps and all. But 2 ft is not bad- Bacc-Off???
I quit after 10 yrs of reliable copenhagen use. You kow how I quit? I just stopped buying it. The craving were there, especially while golfing and fishing. But I didn't buy any so therefore I didn't have any to use. Just stop buying it and don't bum it off people. It's that simple.- which baitcaster?
Revo s or stx($120 at TW) or a citica would all be nice. Whatever fits your budget really. I personally can't wait for the Abu Garcia Orra sx to hit stores. Next month I think- Your biggest on a senko
4 lbs - too shallow?
