My dad has a magstrike predator, It is KILLER. Top notch IMO. With the adjustable handle. I keep trying to steal it from him but the catches me every time. I don't know about the reg magstrike. But I think the only difference is the adjustable handle. I love American Rodsmiths rods, I have 8 myself(team,champions,apex) just not the magstrike or H3 titanium. DEFINATLY worth the $200 price tag IMO. If you can get one cheaper that would be awesome.

From what I just read at Rivals.com, Florida only has 1 team on the schedule that could stop them. LSU. My team has to stop Tx Tech,Oklahoma,Ok State,and Missouri (if they are any good this year)

TW has these on liquidation for $45. Are they worth it? I use my flipping rod as my swimbait rod also. If ya'll can give me any input I might try one, I can't see myself buying an expensive swimbait rig because I don't throw them a lot.

Ok, I fish the DD22 and the Bandit 700. It was my understanding that it was the length of the lip that gets it deeper. But the lips on my DD22's are longer than that of the Bandits. They are both in the 14' to 18' diving range. Is it because of the head slope on the Bandit? Yes sir, dec-feb are my favorite times to fish. Hardly any boat traffic and fat fish. I don't catch as many but they are usually chunky.

I have a friend named Jason who will not throw a spinnerbait unless it has a pink face or head on it. He says when a shad is about to die it's face turns pink? I don't know how true this is, but any time we are throwing spinnerbaits he does seem to catch more than me.

Well I decided to take a "personal holiday" from work tomorrow. So I am going to do some red and speck (speckled trout/spotted sea trout) fishing. My brother in law is coming in from Colorado and he has never been saltwater fishing so I am going to introduce him in the ways of southeast Tx ways of the game. He should have fun. I hope I get to fish, he doesn't know how to throw a BC and that's all I have.On Sat he is gonna whoop my a** on the golf course, He is a under par golfer and I am the best duffer in my town. Then on Sun. I am headed to my personal favorite lake. Toledo Bend with my dad. He beat me last time we went. I am dedicating my whole day to deep cranks, drop shots, and 6" golden shiner Huddleston Deluxe. I will be back on monday with a follow up. ;D

White perch certainly do not taste like garbage. People around here go out just to go white perch fishing and eat every one of them. They are very good actually.
