What IS up????? What's up with all of the plane crashes lately? I don't recall seeing this many in such a short time frame EVER.

IMO I am a all around better caster with a longer rod. I am longer on casts and more accurate with my 7'2 than I ever was with a 6'6

I have used a pegged Tx rigged Yama Kreature as the weight on a dropshot. It works too. Nobody made any rules about this stuff. Use whatever you can create to catch fish.Who cares if looks silly or does not seem normal. If you can do something new and catch fish, then do it.

My buddy fishes a double fluke a lot. I do not know how he does it though. It does work. I sometimes fish a double senko. A 3 way swivle one loop tie a 12" leader the other tie a 18" leader and one to tie to your line. I catch a lot of fish this way.

My biggest concern for this question is. He is asking about a canal that is 2' to 4' deep. all of these porcupine things and buckets with pvc are a little big IMO.

Ok here's the way I look at it. I use a 3/4 oz parasite weight on Paca craws for this method.With other baits also. But I have no trouble punching through. I always use baits that are pretty smooth,not a lot of curly or big arms/legs/flapping things.Nothing to get wrapped around the grass. Also use a good oily or jelly type scent for lubrication.

i have only heard of behemoth, between the buried and me, and i may have heard of pig destroyer. i find that most of these metal bands with terrible names (see above lol) have equally terrible music. no variety within their songs. each song sounds like the same riff constantly repated. i don't like that. too one dimensional for me. also their vocalists aren't worth poop. not saying this is the case for the bands you listed because i haven't heard any of their music, i'm just saying i find this is the case with a lot of metal bands that you don' t hear much about. Behemoth,Emporer, and Dark Throne are from Poland and Norway, I learned about them when I was overseas in the Navy. you have to want to like music like that, BELIEVE ME it is not for everybody. surprised to see a black metal fan in here. You should check out some early Burzum. Personally I am a huge fan of punk rock but listen to a lot of black metal, death metal, grind core, hard core, viking metal, folk, country and lots of other stuff I actually have, and do not like Burzum or anything from Varg Vickernes for that matter. I do like old mayhem,Gorgoroth, Uh lets see Finntroll, is that viking metal.1349 is good to. I also really love Opeth. I honestly did not think ANYONE on here would know anything about that type of music. I can understand someone not liking Burzum, Especially Varg. If you get a chance and haven't seen it yet, you should check out "True Norwegian Black Metal" about Gaahl from Gorgoroth. It is pretty interesting. Opeth are amazing, I imagine if Pink Floyd and Morbid Angel had offspring together they would be Opeth. Is that the thing on youtube where these two dudes go to Norway and interview him and he takes them up a mountain in the snow to see a shack that his grandparents built? Gaahl is a strange man. He lives in a house with no electricity. Got arrested for kidnapping and torture.

Do you think it only holds smaller fish because of where it ended up? If you put them in the middle of a sandy bottom flat with no grass anywhere around, why would it hold good fish? If you put christmas trees in a good spot, like say the edge of a creek channel in 15ft of water. Those trees will draw good fish. Just my opinion.

I saw the mud hole kits. I did not see one that had a split grip. Is there a starter kit that offers split grips? Honestly I do not want a foregrip either. And how can you tell the length of the handles in the kits? I don't want a 9" handle on a 7'2" rod. Do they come with everything I need to complete the rod?Epoxies and other things like that. Sorry about all of the questions I may be asking for too much out of a starter kit. Any info please. Thanks in advance.

I would'nt say you had bad luck, you caught some fish.I can catch 1.5 lb'rs all day long and have a blast. And don't forget, you can't catch a big ol sow belly bass if there is'nt one around.

When I was in the Navy, I had a buddy who was always talking about grabbing for suckers. He was from Mansfield Missouri. I would say WTH are you talking about? he explained to me that they could( what I would call) foul hook these fish(grabbing). He said they had some kind of rig that has to do with a bottle opener and a treble hook. I was not familiar with suckers. Hell I still don't know what they are, some type of carp? We just do not do things like that where I am from. I guess you are wanting to do the same thing. It seems like it would be easy to get a big treble and weight and just sling it into a bunch of fish.

I am not sure what an Alewife is, I am guessing it is like a shad. Why don't you get a lure that resembles them,fish under the school, and somehow make your bait standout as an injured one. We all know bass are oppertunistic feeders, they will prey on the weak and dying first. Once again, I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT A ALEWIFE IS so pardon me if this is totally stupid.
