  1. Depends on temp. If it's Hot I go to one of my "homemade" 10"+ plastics. If it's cool I go to an X rap. Always.
  2. I would definatley take the hook guards off.
  3. 6", right? I hope it's not the 8". yes, 6" weedless. ROF 12 and 5
  4. My buddy used one once with me and I was killing him on a devils horse. I don't think he caught 1 until he put on a pop r.
  5. The same ones that I use in the rest of the seasons. The only thing that might change is the size.
  6. It should work fine. That is the same size rod I use when I throw my Huddlestons.
  7. I don't know why the fish like these, but it is the first topwater i have ever used. When I was 5, now I am 30 and it is still my favorite topwater bait.
  8. On the big lizard one, I use a 5/0 gamakatsu. And honestly they only last for about 3 fish. I have not had one get ripped apart though. the other 3 are not that big, they are between 5"-7". It is just something I do out of boredom.
  9. sorry about the GIANT crappy pictures. My wife gets the good camera, I had to use my tacklebox camera.
  10. FINALLY I can post pictures. these baits are not poured by me, I just take different baits cut them and reattach them the way I want them to look. Like a lizard with a zoom trick worm and the sabre tail from a grande bass mutant. About 12" total. You can laugh if you want, but they DO catch. It's been proven. Open for critisizm and laughs.
  11. I taught myself everything that I know about casting, flipping, and pitching. I have seen them on tv and went to the yard and tried and learned. I guess I may have used the elite series tourneys on tv as a reference to see what it was. But as far as learning it, it was all self taught.
  12. Academy H2O xpress jointed shad.
  13. IMO for worms, lizards etc. you need only 4 colors. Purple,Black,Brown,Green. Add whatever flakes to any of those colors and you will catch.
  14. I catch reds and specks on zooms and 4" senkos, I think they would work. I think they would work unless the scent would turn them away. I doubt that would happen though.
  15. So I bought some new hard swimbaits, and 1 of them squeaks when I move it. Not in water , I have not put it in water yet. It is the sound of metal on metal grinding together. It is very subtle not loud at all, but I know it's doing it. Will this cause a bass not to strike, or will the water give enough lube to make it stop?
  16. I got a quote for a price on my boat, it was $2200 that's for a 17'5 boat. That's not even the whole boat either. That's just both sides, full length of boat but 2 ft in height.
  17. wow that's a lot of weird stuff you have to do. What is a boat license? Like a drivers license?
  18. That's a shame. That's my favorite lake. What part of the lake or any other info?
  19. Get ready, the shimano comments are coming soon. ;D I would go with the Inshore.
  20. YES, I have some 6"waterdog style plastics and have 1 left. I can't find the ones I had anywhere. There are some people/companies that make some but they are not the same.
  21. I wish I could, but I am at work, and this is a work laptap. No pics on here.
  22. I was going to say use a real small jig head for wacky presentation. I think they may even make one that's weedless.
  23. Why can't I post pictures? I tried the plugging in the usb, found them on the browser, and attached them. Typed a little text and tried to post and nothing. it sits for like 5mins then says page can not be displayed. HELP, I need to post some pictures.
  24. If the prices are reasonable, then just buy some and try them out. If they are no good oh well they did not cost very much. what $3 big deal.
