  1. It looks like 90% of the saltwater plastics I use. And I bet it swims and performs the same as them too.
  2. I will take that Toho off your hands.
  3. I bought my first hard swimbaits. They are at academy $7.99 for the 3.5" and $8.99 for the 4.5" let me just say,WOW!!!!! I did not expect this. They swim wonderfully. Only 4 colors are available. Ghost shad, baby bass,American shad, and Sexy shad. I only bought the 3.5" in American shad. But after seeing them in action I will buy all of the colors in both sizes. If you can, check them out.
  4. I don't do the link thing, but I will try some recomendations. BIG BITE BAITS (underrated) Fighting frog and Kriet Kreature. Lake fork Hyperfreak. Wave Tiki Platypus.El Grande Mexican Rattler. Gambler Flapp N tail worm. X rap xr8, xr10 and deep. Yozuri sashimi jerkbait(colorchanging). Spro Mcstick Xcalibur xr50,xr75 Yozuri sashimi rattlin vibe. spro aruku shad
  5. Sweet beaver YES. the other 2 no.
  6. Ha, I thought I was the only one that did that type of stuff. I have a buddy who fished one of my baits and got an 11lb out of Toledo Bend about a month ago. 8"lizard w/6" zoom trickworm and a sabertail added to the tip of the tail. After dissection and reattachment they are about 12"long and they work. When I get home I will try to post some pictures of some that I made. It is a good feeling knowing that a bait you made or altered catches fish.

I would'nt get the clackin rap. You should look into the xcalibur one knocker instead.
  8. I have seen this on a bass before. I took it as an injury to the fish. I did not think it was a fungus.
  9. The Store in Katy, Tx WILL let you take things back that you order online. I took back an Extreme and traded it for another, and I had a buddy take back his carrot stick that he did not even buy there and got a new one.
  10. you must be using a thin wire hook, cuz I never have them flex on me. I use the 3/0 and 4/0 g lock worm hooks and they are tough. Owners are excellent too.
  11. Good Luck to the both of you.
  12. x2 on golden shiner
  13. This guy is actually keeping and eating 11 and 9 # bass? Im sorry but he sounds like a real ****** to me. Who is in charge of the ponds? Is it like a gated community? I wish I could give you an answer because stuff like that really bothers me. I watched a kid pull up about a 20lb stringer out of the pond I fish and take them home.I was so pissd but I could not say anything. He had a key to the gate of the pond and I don't.
  14. Parasite weights. get em, learn em, love em.
  15. This looks a lot like the pond I fish. It's basically a sandpit. clear as you can see. The way mine is layed out is highbanks, about 1 to 2 ft deep for about 3 yds, then a drop to 15'. then a shelf for about 15yds then a drop to 25 or 30'. I always catch bass in there. Only on plastics though. Nothing else ever works because of the depth.
  16. At the time I have a couple of favorites. For my big c rig I use a lot of 8' lizards and 10" worms. On my reg c rig I am really loving Gambler Ugly otters,Wave Tiki Monkey, and Grande Bass Mutants. If you can gets some mutants look into them, they are killer.
  17. This is the same thing I am going through. This week I can go fishing either Wed or Thurs. It is going to be 101 degs on both days. The lake I was going to go to is 18Ft at the deepest part. I do not think I am going to drive for 2 hours just to fish from 6am to noon. The other day I went to Rayburn and in my favorite cove the water temp was 86.4 degs at 7 am. What the h***?
  18. No shakey head, to me that is the slowest fishing rig out there. I would say start him off on flukes. Not to much sitting and he gets to twitch the bait around.
  19. I am also not sure of Texposing. I always just Tx rig the bait and then skin hook it. Can someone show a picture? I probably do it and don't know the proper term.
  20. X1,000 I totally agree. the c3 4600 is what I use for DD22's and such. They work great and are built tough and last forever.
  21. You are saying you catch more fish on painted weights than with reg ol lead color? I don't see how that would make the slighted difference to the fish. :-?
  22. Sometimes I will use a jigging spoon in the winter, and I also use spoons when I fish saltwater for specks and reds.
  23. I do not know what it is, but it looks like a BIG shad to me.
