yeah, what's the deal with NO spare spools for a $200 spinning reel? I read in the BPS catalog that there was a FREE Spare spool, but was that a miss-print?? All my local guys tell me no spare spool! > No spare spool to keep the cost down. Yes that was a mis-print. They will gladly sell you an extra spool.

I have read reports that the biggest eyes are caught right after ice-out. Wish I could be more helpful.

You're definitely going to over load it. When you took the middle seat out you probably weakened the structure also. I wish you the best of luck getting it on the water but be careful and wear a good floatation device.

I thank God every day that we had boy's and not girls I don't think I could have handled all the drama of them growing up. Boy's were bad enough.
