That should serve you well but I would down size the line with something like Yo-Zuri Ultra soft in 6 lb which has a 10 lb. breaking strength and more managable on a spinning reel. JMO

I know a lot of people that wishes they were making 50 G's a year , hell I know a lot of people that wished they had a job. It could be worse for you but you are right about finding another company to work for. It does appear you're in a deadend company. Good luck.

Buy the regular , the shock is too wimpy. I own them both and the shock is a noodle , good for only small cranks. JMO
