Do you think they would have bad things to say about him? I doubt it. He's one of the toughest players in the game and a sure fire hall of famer. Not to mention that he was going to retire (again, but for good this time) after having a career year last season and only came back because the team went over to his house and begged him to come back. The Vikes made their bed with that move and now they're lying in it. You can't fault a guy for being the tough competitor he's always been when thats exactly what you wanted him to be and why you talked him out of retirement at the beginning of the season. They knew, or should've known then they were taking a chance that a man his age would fall off the cliff, but if he didn't he gave them their best shot at winning it all. As it turns out, the gamble hasn't paid off so far, but I can't see the guys in the room faulting Brett for that. You must be his agent.
