Sunglasses
You know back in the 80's there was a helmet add that went something like if you have a $20 head buy are $20 helmet if not buy ours that was like $200, sunglasses are the same way if you have $20 eyes buy cheap glasses but I don't whatever brand you buy is a vast improvement over cheap polarized glasses personally I use Solar Bat they are very good and they have great customer service.

Charging Optima Blue Top Battery
I have Optima batteries on my boat and my old battery charger was not charging fully I talked to the Optima rep for my area and he recommended a Professional Mariner Charger I switched to one and have not had any problems since. They are a little pricey I got mine at the spring sale at BPS for 249 but they are regularly about 300.

Stick Jacket
Just bought 6 of them have only had them for a couple of weeks but so far I really like them. If they hold up through the summer I will buy about 20 more in the fall. I use the Cabelas rod socks now but like the color of the stick jackets alot that way you can use a color for a different power rod.

anyone try Strike King 3X ElazTech Zero
Without a doubt I go to Canada smallmouth fishing every year go through about 200 senkos switched to the strike king version last year went through about 25. That is a major difference most were wacky style but some texas style also. This is a great product just wish they had more colors.

Today's Best Smallmouth
Nice one
-
what action and power?
All depends on what you are throwing, I live in TN and the hair jig is king here, for that I use a G Loomis BSR852 Glx, but in the summer we throw big 1oz to 1 1/2 oz spinnerbaits for that I use a G Loomis Spinnerbait Rod 864C a think of a rod as a golf club you would never go golfing with only one club it is hard to go fishing with only one rod.

Looking for guided trip
I live 20 minutes from Dale Hollow it is not a big # of fish lake it is however a great big fish lake if you are looking for big # of fish Lake Erie is the only way to go I have fished out of the Pelee Island area of the lake several times and had great trips and it is not even the best part of the lake. Hope this helps
