You are absolutely right !! My uncle morehead used to tell me about spots he used to see on t-bend when the lake was a lot lower and a hummingbird was all the electronics he had.

Man does that picture bring back memories !!!! one of my favorite trips of all time was pitching the old ring rascal worm at fin and feather docks on t-bend one night out of a stick steer boston whaler. Can you believe the change in technology !!!

You wouldn't know the history of this lake by any chance would you ? How old, if it has ever been stocked etc.

Except on dinks ? when you set the hook how do you know the difference between a dink and the biggest bass you have ever caught !

No matter how you define it, if you know what to look for FISH IT if you dont, stick to the bank, or learn !!! There are several people on here that have been doing this for a long time and can teach you how to read a map and find these humps and ridges.

I agree, I believe it does hide mistakes but I also believe the bass is at a slighter disadvantage at night and has less time to judge and decide and has to take it for what it is at that moment. They have to take it for face value and hit it or forget it !!!!

All I can say is UNBLELIEEEEEEVABLE !!!! they take it off the general forum and here is is again. JJ'S either hates us or loves us. FISH CATCHIN , EXPLOSIONS , SMOKE AND VOMIT this stuff is FANREAKINTASTIC !!! I say we all buy some and shoot it up and see what happens.

I will definetly do that. I have a tourney this Saturday and, as I said, it's on a very tough lake. This will be a true test. I've read a lot about it and just have to tryit. I'll give a full report from sunny Az.. I appreciate it, GO GET EM !!!!!

Not everyone fishes for money !! dont fool yourself there are some weekend worriors that can hold there own with anybody and you better believe it . These pro's you all watch came from somewhere, they just took a different route than the rest of us. I fished one tournament on t-bend 15 years ago, was asleep a the boat launch be noon and won by 18lbs on a 10 below day, GOD AS MY WITNESS !! My nerves were so shot by the end of the tourney I swore I would never fish another, and I havnt " and I won the @#$% thing " DIFFERENT STROKES FOR DIFFERNT FOLKS !!! You truly are the epitome of awesomeness. Your confidence is admirable, but I still know who my money would be on in any conditions on any lake. YOU MISSED MY POINT COMPLETELY !!!

I know guys who can flat out fish that don't care about tournaments. Based on a few of these posts. Does this mean when someone gives advice, it would be okay for us to ask them to post their tournament resume, I mean why take advise from someone who don't have any tournament resumes on file for us to view? lol That would eliminate alot of advice or opinions given on here. I'll flip the script and just say I'd like the opportunity to be on the list of those that tried to best him, I'd be in good company on that list, and have no shame in being on that list. Ain't skeered!!!!!!! Excellent point !!! why are we on here ? At some point in time we can learn a little something from each and every one of us, if you are better than that GET OFF !!

HEY BUD do me a favor !!! when you get back would you give a thorough report. Whether you murdered the bass, jj,s started smoking and blew in your face when it got hot or whatever. Good or bad give a honest report ,this stuff has been a hot topic for a while and I just want more data. THANKS !!!

CATT buddy this question is really for you, but I will take answers from any other night time fisherman. No doubt you have several more years on t-bend than I do , but I have read many threads on how to fish different baits at night and you have answered the same every time, "same area" "same baits" "same presentation you fish in the day time. I honestly do not catch the quality or quantity in the day I do at night . 99% of my time on the lake is night time I admit, but my spinnerbait catch is much bigger at night, every other bait I throw does have the same day to night ratio " close anyway " My question is your day to night ratio on spinnerbait really that close, and take into mind I am talking about the same area. I not trying to call you out, we fish the same water and thats the reason I am asking you. Remember this is spinnerbait only !!!

Bob is the creator of Pond Boss magazine and is the premier private lake/pond builder in the country. We got to sit up picking his very generous brain, pow wow style, till the wee hours of the morning and this is just one of the many awesome little tid bits we learned. It was like Bass school. 15 minutes. Alright I did miss the school so enlighten me , how did POND BOSS BOB discover a bass only has 15 minutes of memory ? How would a bass associate prey from non-prey species after long periods between feedings.

In my 70 acre private lake he's smoked, it would be like trying to hold back the tide, he couldnt do it. On t-bend I am pretty sure I would never recover from that spanking. Reading all the answers I know what is going through everyones mind and I have the very same thoughts. We have all watched BASS and saw KVD'S final weight a tournament and realized it was 4oz less or 4lb or whatever than we have just weighed in on our own turf, on a weekend of fishing for the fun of it. But a one day tournament under those circumstances , lets just say I WOULD LOVE TO TRY !! Remember he just got busted up by a guy in a G3 aluminum boat and no bow mounted fish finder. SOMEBODY SET IT UP !!! YOU KNOW EVERYONE WOULD DEFINATELY WATCH. TV ratings would go through the roof.

ALLRIGHT BIGTIM !!! I see where you are headed with this one, all this chatting lately over which reel is the best has got you thinking ! How much does technology help a veteran fisherman. I personally think technology always helps the weaker fisherman not the pro. EASY FISHERMAN DONT GET OFFENDED !!!
