DBK Lures jigs. The skirts are made of round strings instead of flat so that they stand out more and seem to have better action in the water.

I rig it with a hook and cast it in the water.

Good job. Nice fish. I hope to go where I can catch some smallies one of these days.

I grab 'em by the lower jaw and shake their head a lot while telling them they are a good fish for cooperating with me. Then I slap them hard on the back side and send them on their way. Actually, I wet my hands and do pretty much what you do. If it is a large fish I then give it additional support under the tail area. If it is real large, I jump in with them and give them a bear hug. J-B

god that's a monster, I remember over the summer when I caught a big carp (22") on 4 lb test and an ultra-lite, the first ten minutes were exciting then I was just wondering when it was going to give up ;D LOL. I like that attitude.
