  1. I live in Scranton, but my parents have a cottage on Lake Gouldsboro. I mostly fish that, or Lackawanna State park, or Tobyhana Lake.
  2. Just wondering if there is anyone from Northeast PA, or the Poconos, and what lakes you fish at.
  3. Hey Everyone My name is Luke. I live in Northeast Pennsylvania (about 20 minutes from the Poconos). I've been fishing since I could walk, but primarily pan fish. 12 years ago I started trout fishing using spinning gear, and I love it. About two weeks ago I caught my first bass ever and it was 17" long, and I was hooked. I've spent every free minute trying to catch bigger and badder bass. It's totally addicting. I also play acoustic guitar, the drums, and the bass. I love camping, riding my quad, painting, drawing, and photography.
  4. Now that I think of it, they were breeching the water, and I had my rod held high. I think my biggest mistake is when i'm trying to get the fish right next to the boat, I'm holding my rod high and their heads come out, they jump, and they're gone. Oh by the way, Every time it happens I'm using a new crank bait with sharp hooks
  5. They were hittin' so good, you probably could have caught 'em on those turkey sandwiches you had!!! ;D
  6. I guess that's why not too many blind people fish alone!!! ;D
  7. Hey Everyone, I've had this major problem of losing bass right next to the boat. The fish are usually within 2 feet of the boat and they do a head shake and "poof" they're gone. Any hints or tip would be helpful and greatly appreciated. Thanks
  8. Hey Everyone, I just started bass fishing and I have a question. I usually use lipless crankbaits or jointed minnows, and the whole lake has tons of weeds growing from the bottom. I'm having a hard time telling the difference between a fish strike, and a quick weed snag. If anyone has any hints or tips, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks
