I have a Minn Kota Endura 55 thrust trolling motor that i want to mount on the bow of my 14 foot jon boat. I want to keep the battery in the back. What type, and size wire do i need, and what connectors? Any help would be appreciated I'm not too good at electrical stuff.

I have a shop a half mile from my place, the guy who owns it is a nice guy, when he's not too busy, he'll shoot the bull with you, and he's also a hardcore fisherman. prices are good, and a decent selection.

I think that our country needs to stop slapping animal abusers on the hand. If you murder someone, most sentences are 25 to life or life in jail. People that kill a dog (or deer in this case) get a couple months, and a fine. I think it's b.s. sorry, but It just ticks me off

i do enjoy the sounds of nature, but after 5,6,7,8 or 9 hours of fishing, I might want to hear something other than that . Anyway, I would use my ear-buds (no speakers). If I'm having a dry spell, at least music might cheer me up, and get me pumped !!!

Anybody bring an i pod while fishing? There have been times when the fishing is slow and I just wished I had music to listen to ( although I never brought one before)

I was thinking of getting a Humminbird 140c portable fishin buddy, because its easy to take on and off, and i usually slide my boat down a sandy ramp, so a sonar mount on the bottom would probably tear off. Any suggestions for my Jon Boat electronics?
