  1. I hardly ever cover the seat. I'm not worried about that when I gotta go. I'd rather sit on a seat than mess my pants.
  2. 71, ouch ! that's not too good!!!
  3. lipless cranks, like a rattlin rapala would be used more in cold water, because of the tight wobble. Spring, summer and fall I use regular cranks. One good method of fishing them is to make the bait bang off submerged structure (like trees, rocks, the bottom) . Fish usually can't resist striking after it bumps off something, but you run the risk of getting caught up.
  4. I wouldn't use a shoot through. You lose a lot of imagery.
  5. I heard mixed reviews on the 2nd movie. I loved the 1st one, and have it on dvd, I'm going to buy the 2nd one, just to have both of them.
  6. 24. not bad for a public school education !!!!!
  7. i don't take my shirt off, but when i played h.s. football, a teammate of mine had to be buck naked to take a deuce.
  8. i know these are just "kids" playing college football, but when you're good and you know it, and have the possibility of going pro and making millions of dollars, why would you even think of doing something stupid... boggles me...
  9. in cold water baitfish are not as active, nor do they swim as fast as they do in summer. Trying to mimic that, just remember to fish slower in cold water. It would look odd to bass to see a baitfish zooming past them.
  10. what I meant was, if i'm in a store, and the action isn't written on the rod, how do I tell (at the store) the action?
  11. I know there is info on the rod like line weights to use, what type of rod (med, med-heav, etc.) But I never notice the type of "action" a rod has ( fast, moderate, slow, etc). When looking to purchase a new rod, and it's not marked, how can you tell the action?
  12. Ugly Stiks are decent rods with great pricing. I've used them before, and the performance to price is great.
  13. Everybody is ragging on the hat. too funny...
  14. i never lost one of my rods, but I was fishing with a buddy 2 years ago in my boat, He hooked me once and hit me 3 times his rod. The 4th time he hit me, I tore his rod out of his hand, and threw it as far as I could. It's still in the bottom of the lake.
  15. businesses will look to save money anywhere. If they could have an automated system, they don't need to hire a person to answer the phone. I hate that too.
  16. sometimes I don't trim min, other times on some jigs i cut a little, you want to keep the skirts longer than the hook though. I do trim all my weed guards. I trim them to about 1/3 of their original size ( the thickness, not length)
  17. He just started fishing, and wanted to get a couple rods in his arsenal, he only has two bass rods.
  18. I have a buddy (who knows I'm into fishing) ask me a question. He said he has one bait caster and a couple spinning rods, he wants to buy a new rod within the next week. He isn't that comfortable with bait casters, and he wanted to know, should he buy the bait caster and learn to use it or buy another spinning rod. I need input from you guys for my buddy. thanks
  19. grass blaster, cut grass, grass smasher
  20. too funny!!! I wish hallmark had a "brutally honest" section.
  21. I think the show is ok. I believe the fights are real. Although the host of the show is annoying as hell, and I'd like to see him get his jaw broken.
  22. If a teacher did that to me, he'd be in the hospital, and I'd be in jail.
  23. You could set ground rules . Tell the ghost out loud that you don't mind him being in the house, and that some pranks are alright, but you don't want him to ruin or destroy any clothing, furniture, etc...
  24. Awesome joke. The best comedy comes from life...
