  1. Haha yeah man! I just think that Quantums high end reels feel like plastic toys... AJ he also spits and fish jump in the boat haha
  2. The best meal I ever had was from Western Sizzlin. It was just so good! I love southern cooking!
  3. I just couldn't bring myself to ever spend my money on a Quantum product. In my opinion Quantum is the "Dodge Ram" of the fishing industry.
  4. Thanks Mr. Parks! The one you put up on FB was a HAWG! I'll post this on Rage Talk in a minute!
  5. Hookingem and I hit the pond today at 2:00 PM for a little hot weather fishin...let's just say there was a little party going on under the surface. We caught close to 30, and I had about 5 fish in the high 3's to low 4 pound range. No big ones, even though we thought we were going to stick a HAWG. I caught a majority of the fish today because I had the ONE pack of Rage Craws that they really wanted, in Candy Craw color. It was slightly STOOPID.
  6. The Villian is tight.
  7. Exact same thing, Palm Tree comes less in a pack.
  8. Eh, the more I look the less impressed I am. It has been said before, just get a Type-R.
  9. Some flouro stretches a lot while others are stiff. P-Line Halo is like a cord, but the memory is ridiculous.
  10. Yep, my ponds are just about dead right now with an occasional five or six. I do have one new pond that only one other person on here knows about that is a GEM and will be fished VERY little by me to keep it good. There's a very strong possiblilty of a 12-13+, no doubt. I mean just a gem. I'm fighting myself to not go. But to answer your question, yes, fishing can blow. You just need to take that time and try new baits and techniques. Or you could take my approach and use it as an excuse to buy new rods and reels.
  11. I need to get a couple of the black ones. I've just recently started night fishing. It's kind of spooky but I love it! Skoal Apple and Creme Soda will be the focus tonight. Probably stay up till around 3, I slept 15 hours last night.
  12. Maybe I'll try it one day. I am for sure buying a Daiwa T3 Ballistic.
  13. John Mayer. Women drool at the snap of his fingers. I would have an std at the end of the year, no doubt.
  14. Wow man that is a hoss of a smallie, nice job!
  15. Freakin awesome man! I got two foul balls at an FSU game one time then since my padre is a sports writer got to hang out with the team after the game. Good times you will never forget!
  16. RW I totally agree, the Loomis 843 and 844 are the rods by which all others are measured. I haven't fished a Loomis, but I can get them half price brand new. A GLX for $190? Sounds good to me, but I haven't pulled the trigger yet. Maybe I should. I just worry that they might be tip-heavy.
  17. I'm seriously giving thought to switching to strictly Champion Extreme rods. I love tbe way they balance and fish. I wish I was sponsored by them!
  18. Fat-G replied to SoftbaitJunk's topic in Fishing Tackle
I would go with the Dobyns lineup, I believe that they are more comfortable to fish with because they are so balanced!
  19. Honestly dude, they're all pretty bad. I would just save up some money.
  20. I would say a 7' MH Crucial casting rod with a Curado would be a nice addition! Edit - that is ir you like the Crucial rods. I am not a fan. If not I would try a Dobyns Savvy.
  21. Dude you haven't felt a Champion Extreme, or even a Champion. The cork on Dobyns rods will blow the Gander rod out of the water. Seriously, treat yourself.
  22. Time to bring this one back, probably one of my top three all time favorite threads. I miss bizzle. He was an awesome dude. Leftovers from an 11 oz. sirloin, cheese fries, and rattlesbake bites from Texas Roadhouse at 1:45. Feeling the heartburn right now.
  23. Uhh 7.9 pound smallie? Can I see a picture? I bet that thing was a freaking hog. Congrats man! I would love to see her!
  24. A dude on here. Can't find them for that cheap anymore.
