I keep them in their origional bags and toss em in a big ziplock. Works great.

He was 24 long, 18 girth, right at 10 lbs!!! Guys the head on that sucker was some dinosaur stuff lol. He was so fat and thick.

3 to 4 times a week. 5 - 6pm till dark which is close to 9pm.

If I ever wanna bring some plastics back to life I just get a bottle of some nice spray scent, drop a bit of salt in the bag, shake around, and let em sit for a week or so. That usually bring em back from the dead as far as being dry or smelly. But for the most part, I go through a bag or more each day I fish. Every month I need to buy more so I dont have much old stuff.

Almost 100% of the time when I use a soft plastic, it is a creature bait. I am currently using a 10" Rage Tail Anaconda cut down a bit but that thing ha so much action I consider it a creature bait. Creatures are the best. I am going to be trying out the Rage Tail Space Monkey. I bet she will take over the spot for super brush hogs.

I broke down the reel to clean and grease and I mixed up some spacer and an hour later... I have it so mixed around I cant find up from down!!! I need a schematic or something for the reel. Anybody have any ideas besides sending this off through BPS? Is there a dude in store who might be able to put her back together?

I yell at people alot. When I am trying to fish and they get it stuck in the tree's, I have to stop fishing and move the boat for them. That really starts to pizz me off. That and missing hooksets! I had probably 5 or 6 today that hit my ragetail ana, I let em take it for a min, and wamo! but no fish. GRRRR. And not fishing areas I know I should be. Once again today... I pass right by a spot I should have been fishing, and what do I see? probably a 8 lber roll next to the boat as I rolled by and went in the brush.

I use 30lb PP braid in green for jigs and NEVER saw this bleeding color thing happen. As Bill Dance would say... "DAG GOMMIT!.....Get another rod..." lol Idk man, that weird.

All star, BPS, St Croix, and I think like 3 or 4 others...

I am for sure going with the BPS Johnny Morris Elite 6:4:1 reel. And I am thinking of pairing it up with this rod in a 6'6 mh fast. http://www.cabelas.com/prod-1/0053504122679a.shtml I am looking at this rod because I want a great rod within the 100 dollar range. I will be using this setup for top water, soft plastics, spinner baits, and crank baits. What do you think? I already have a rod and reel for only jigs. This other setup will be everything else since I cant change to braided line every time I wanna use my jig.

I am in Florida aslo. I have noticed I catch these 5lb + suckers when not really expecting it! I find they are hunkered down in some really heavy brush and cover, or hangin right under the water on a sunken log or tree branch. They also seem to not wanna waste their time with baits coming their way. I have seen then turn away as my lure comes past them weather it be a spinner bait, crank, or soft plastic. I do notice tho I get MORE bites that seem to be out of anger from the biggins on small creature baits such as the baby brush hog or a smaller lizard. Those big ones are tuff. They have been around the block and they know what, why, and when to eat. Buttholes :'( ;D

omg... I have said this soooo many times. The only reason it is there it because I am using only one rod and reel when fishing. I am purchasing more in the future for plastics only, jigs and drop shotting, and cranks and spinners. It allows me to change baits quickly.

Well this is my new fav custom trailer. Dam it looks good! Havnt gotten to fish it yet but I'm gonna give it a go 2morrow!

I fish with 1 rod and reel on my outings and that allows me to switch baits quickly. I know i know... I am in the proccess of getting 2 more combo's. One with braid for jigs, and another for spinners, cranks, and topwaters.

I fish a lake that is absolutely over runned with Gar! It gets annoying at time when they nip at my lures and rip the tails off and so forth. Being that there are so many Gar in this lake, are the Bass doing anything different? Holding deeper? Shallow? I notice the gar sit shallow right under the water but all over the place. Input???

Well I have the smaller and the huge 10" RageTail Anaconda's and cant be more amazed with the amount of action and natural look that these things provide. I am using 5/0 wide gap hooks and to me...on those large Ana's, the hook wasnt far enough back on the bait and I would get reeeeeally aggressive bites but no hook sets. What I have done is cut down the body of the worm. There is an area in the middle of the worm's body like a crease where I have cut it down. The hook now sits right toward the back of the bait's tail and this thing looks incredible now. Watched the action in the water and it looks like one huge rage'in snake worm beast animal. I would suggest giving this a go. I also seemed to get more bites with doing this that before right outta the box.

This is a pet peve of mine. People who open thier mouth and have no idea what the hell they are talking about. I met a guy who had a baitcaster from 87 it looked like... I said "man thats a vintage! I havnt seen anything like this" He said "no it's just a pro model. Most people have never seen ones like mine." All while fishing a pink worm on a brim hook, bobber, and beetle spin at the top of it on a 5'5 rod from 81 and like 14 lb mono from 91. Told me he catches 15lbers all day long. His line wasnt even through the line guide... it was just hanging out the open spool then through the rod guides. Reel example... Why cant people just ask or not say anything when they know dam well they are idiots? I dont get it.

I tend to catch more larger sized bass than smaller size. But thats also 18+ years off bassin. Experience+knowledge= Biggins. I have caught big bass in my younger years too but not nearly as consistantly as I do now.
