I love to frog and punch so a Steez XBD for frogs and the 7'11 St. Croix Xtreme for punching. Though for everyday use would probably be a NRX 853.

I'm not a big Abu guy either, though I just purchased 2 Abu reels .....but that being said I'd rather spend that $400 on something else personally I do want to hear people's hands on impression/review.

Ill be going to Iowa around April 15th and I've never really fished this early in the season. I fish some quarry's just over the border but nothing to this scale or that comes close to needing a boat. Just curious if you guys had some pointers on where, lures, etc....
