  1. I am with you man! I have spent more this off-season than every before. Most of it went towards replacing my setups with Dobyns rods and Curados. I am also buying my first boat this spring!
  2. 1/4 oz NorthStar New Gill Swim Jig paired with a paca craw....That is about it becuase it rarely fails. Look for flats close to deep water or shallow coves that have warmer water and sling away till your arm falls off.
  3. I wish they would have shown more fish catches instead Aaron Martens getting hit with a fish literally 100 times.
  4. Great bait! I don't bed fish unless fishing a tournament, but I would assume they would be excellent. I use them in colder weather and slowly drag them along on a sled head jig.
  5. I tend to throw suspending in the colder water conditions or when I have figured out where they are at and I want my bait in the strike zone for a longer period of time. All other times I am throwing a floating.
  6. You can never have enough jigs! Try picking a few colors that you have confidence in and buy different sizes and style heads for different applications. Personally, I am throwing NorthStar Premier Series jigs (alien head) in both 1/4oz, 3/8oz, or 1/2oz a good percentage of the time.
  7. WHY IS GYMNASTICS STILL ON!!?? I mean they look good...BUT COME ON!
  8. They are all that way. You're right though, the garlic punches you in the face!
  9. I would rather of taken a kick in the groin then hear that.
  10. I only have a few buddies that are really into bass fishing, so when I take a majority of my freinds out a) they catch more than me they go through my plastics like there is no tomorrow!
  11. Then you are missing out on by far the best color...red bug
  12. 12" in my neck of the woods is even pushing it, so no I have never even heard of a 16" worm. I can imagine down on the Texas lakes you might get one bite a day on one, but it would be an oinker
  13. The Zoom speed worm is hands down my favorite plastic becuase of its versitility. I fish this this worm anywhere from flipping docks to carolina rig, but my all time favorite way is to burn it like a buzzbait. I don't attempt to catch fish when throwing it, but more so draw the fish out of hiding with it, then throw my favorite stick bait at them - works 50% of the time, everytime
  14. Sadly J, there will only every be one tournament craw.
  15. Right on the money! Just play around and see what they want!
  16. Speaking of Berkely and discontinuing, I still can't get over them dropping the tournment craw - to this day that is the best realistic craw ever made.
  17. Just run it on your jig like a T-Rig!
  18. Why not both? Just get a natural and dark color in both. Personally, I use Paca's more often than any other craw, but there are a few times each year when they want a chigger craw more.
  19. I am with J on this one. For some reason it comes down to a confidence thing with me. Adding anything to a spinnerbait creates too large of a profile to where I am not comfortable with the presentation. I like to just throw on a trailer hook and concentrate on other aspects of the bait such as blades, size, and color.
  20. Damiki Hydra Evolution and Chompers
  21. I TRY to only buy used or online now to save a few bucks. If you are looking to place an order with NorthStar, use the code br10 to get 10% off. Also, if you like us on facebook you can get 15% for next order!
  22. Try throwing the 1 oz into lily pads - it comes through very well and gives the fish a presentation they have never seen before.
  23. He's gotta have his hair jigs look good for the ladies (Big Ol' Mommas)
