  1. I will be praying for you sir
  2. How about ice fishing.... Doesn't provide the same thrill as bassin'. My son loves it though and it doesn't offer some fine meals. Of course it isnt the same, but here in the frozen tundra it gets us through the winter

  8. Like everyone else said, Megastike. Even though it isn't an attractive, it does what you want it to do which is keep human smells off the bait and allows for baits to go though vegetation much easier.
  9. I would have to disagree with this....Summer is when morning fishing is going to be at its best, when the fish are very active. In the colder months bass are less aggressive until it starts to warm up...That is why middle of the day in the shallow areas are the best time because they are up soaking the sun while they can (here in MN the ice is coming)
  10. Shallow weed lines with lipless cranks
  11. I like throwing hollow belly swimbaits, but have yet to buy into the hard body swim baits. My thought process is that those types of baits are for areas with a larger average size fish, am I wrong?
  12. That sale is currently going on?
  13. I agree with everyone else regarding the leader. Adding the almost invisible quailty of flouro with the sensitivity of braid is your best bet. Just make sure that alberto knot is nice and snug
  14. I missed out on the tournement that was on yesterday. Does anyone know of anywhere online where you can watch it? Thanks, VC
  15. You might want to take advantage of the Cabelas deal. $180 rod for $130 - $20 for spending over $120= $110 Not too shabby 8-) I would be all over that if I didnt just buy an HTC EVO today
  16. How bout that...and I thought it was only me ;D Roger Roger, Great minds think alike 8-)
  17. Haha yea thats why I'm asking! But thanks for the heads up
  18. Anyone used these before? What do you guys think? Thanks, VC
  19. Have you tried a baby brush hog?
  20. My favorite plastic on a drop shot is a fluke (baby bass). I went out this morning and nailed them with this setup... I actually had a 5+ lber on the sucker spit the hook!! >
  21. Ill stick with the brush hog, but that does look nice
  22. What do you guys think about this rod? Right now I am looking for a rod that will handle heavier jigs, but also a flippin rod. I noticed though that the power is EH, should that b a concern? Thanks, VC
  23. Well I ordered a few 1/2 oz. persuaders because they are on sale for $1.88. Only in that size and black and chartreuse for colors.
