  1. And if you look on their page they have just one picture of that particular lure instead all the colors available.....just dumb
  2. A thread was started earlier about these cranks and they really caught my attention. I live in MN and as you guys know there are no Academy sports stores around here. Do you guys know of anywhere i can place an order online? Or at least see all of the color patterns so i could have a relative pick the ones i want up? I noticed on their website they dont have much detail on what products they have in the stores. Thanks, VC
  3. I actually caught it on 12# P-line CXX. At first, like all my muskies, it felt like a log and then just took off! It was a thrill to say the least.
  4. Close 2nd for me, but us Minnesotans love the Linder family!
  5. I use a 7' Fenwick HMG MH Fast action
  6. THE HEAD ON THAT 3RD ONE IS HUGE!!! Congrats guys!
  7. Congrats! Thats a solid 3 1/2-4 lber
  8. Yes sir it is. I lost another one tonight fishing for bass, broke off my favorite norman! Good luck to you on that muskie. Once you get your first you are HOOKED for life.
  9. I use megastrike scent with confidence...dont really know if it catches more fish but it does make them hold on longer. I also love the shake2 jig heads!
  10. i just wish they made the premier in a lower gear ratio. That would make my decision a lot easier!
  11. This is one of the best looking cranks i have ever seen. I live in MN, when are they going to do online purchases!?!?!
  12. So i guess i cant go wrong with either the stingers of the KVDs
  13. I have noticed that on all three of mine....i was hoping it was just a fluke when on my first one, but no.
  14. Thanks pgersumky! Ill probably go with the e5 or the winch after i go to cabelas and test them out.
  15. get a Winch !! those reels are smooth and solid Whats the difference between the the winch and the toro winch? Is the $80 more worth it?
  16. I like my sureset hooks on my DT's so im not going to replace those, but i am looking to replace all my Norman deep little N's and DD series.
  17. Rapala DT series, but if i only had one crankbait for the rest of my life it would be a Norman deep little N in redear.
  18. Are you using it for cranks? Yes, it is exclusively for my deep cranks (12+ ft)
  19. I am also looking for something lightweight which i know the premier has. I think i comes down to the E5 and the premier, but i have been looking into other round reel options like the Abu Record.
  20. I haven't really gotten into changing hooks, but have had a few fish spit the hook lately. I have heard good things about the owner stingers, but i have wondering what you guys do for sizes? Red or black? Also are size 4 hooks standard on cranks? Thanks, VC
  21. I'm trying to decide on which reel i should get for my new deep crankbait rod. I currently own Curados and Revo SX's but am looking for something that will casts those baits a mile, even in the wind. I love my Revos but i feel sometimes they dont produce like they should in the wind. I am open for any suggestions, but i have had my eye on the premiers....Are they better casting then the SX's?
  22. same..i dont know what it is i suppose i dont fish them often and when i do i do not keep them on long...it seems like i throw them when nothing is catching fish..and they confirm it when the bite is good, its the last thing i want to throw on. I know others who have great luck with em. thats fishing Thats maybe why....Keep fishing it until you get confidence.
  23. How is the quality of these baits? I dont want to buy the best, but I also dont want to waste money on a poor quality bait? Also, can anyone give any input on the Tru-Tungsten Matt & Ish Tru-Life Swimbaits? Just my input i wouldnt go with the SK....IMO they dont have much action at all compared to other swimbaits bc they only have one joint in the middle.
  24. Randy McAbee. The man knows more about crankin then anyone else.
