  1. steady retrieve with short pauses here n there.,,and seeing that thats a storm lure,i know some of them have weight in the nose so it looks like a bedding bait (raiding beds for eggs) if thats the case then fish it like you would a shaky worm, just bounce it off the bottom.
  2. hmm..reminds me of a starfish moving on the bottom...but looks promising..one things for usre...its something that most bass have never seen b4,wich would probably mean they will attack the thing.
  3. hmm i wanna see that,,that would pretty cool to see a rod EXPLODE!!!!
  4. just use a cutting torch and some dynamite and youll be all set
  5. thats why feebay blows nuts, ive gotten skunked a few times on there, thats why i just buy NEW stuff rather then others ppl junk or problems, avoid all the hassels and upsets of this kind of stuff.look...all this for just saving $10...not worth it!!!!stick to retail might pay a little more but its yours, its new and you dont have to ship crap back if something goes wrong.just my $.02
  6. med it fuses it togehter its not really a glue imo, cause a: it doesnt leave your fingers rock hard lol b: it doesnt make the plastic hard and it doesnt make that flaky white crap everywhere.but when its done its a nice clean fix/joint and it lasts, its just like a new plastic, like it was never tore or ripped b4.
  7. father n law has one..heavy tank but its a sweet SMOOOOOOTH reel.i dont need or have a use for one,but he fishes for everything under the sun and works well for his needs,i like it but not enough to buy it,if its something youd use alot then its worth checkin into, dunno about going as far as pawning off your gear for one.find a store near you that has them and go get yer hands on it.then see how you feel, cause its a beast.
  8. mendit works great for me.otherwise ill also use the lighter method but rather then melt it back together ill take some old plastics and melt those in the holes/tears,works alot better then reforming and scrunching the torn one back together, cause if you scruntch it together to melt it once your done and fish it again its going to want to stretch and the pressure will just tear it again, hence using spare plastics to melt back together, but yea mend it works great.my buddy uses some stuff from gorilla glue thats pretty strong.
  9. i have my citica on a falcon bucoo($109)..love that setup, but id go with what you can afford, and what feels good/right in your hands, i like both the avid and mojo.
  10. how does one know the fish can see it??? are you a fish? do you live under water? do you swimm after this lure? haha just messin with ya,i dont see these lasting to long,im surprised roland martin doesnt endorse these.next the helicopter laser
  11. thats money there....nice
  12. hes got the tail on the eye pf the hook...if you pinch a weight near the bend of the hook (by the eye) it will make the craw ride on its tail standing up,like a real craw does in a defense stance to flare its claws.and X2 on i dont think the fish is going to notice that its upside down, being that its a dark lure and on the bottom of a lake and its not something thats huge with super detail...if anything just rig it so the top is back ontop and bottom on bottom...its not rocket science.
  13. try adding a hook weight onto your hook.my brother uses those but he likes to add a piece of alkaselzer in the tube body to give it some tiny bubble action like real craws do.
  14. im not a quantum guy,but for a versatile rod size that will work for just about any application on the water a 7' mh is the way to go.im not sure on the action of those quantum rods but see what feels good to you either the m or the mh 7'.
  15. no company makes their own reels....foreign sweatshops do
  16. lol..you saw that too huh...id imagine a rather large stick like some rebar.
  17. that handle would also look real good on a citica...im not sure if they still have them but www.brooklynbillstackleshop.com used to have ALOT of custom jdm handles and knobs for shimanos, daiwas and abu's.
  18. the older morris was,im not sure about the new models that are out,i have an older morris, and have handled the patriarchs and its a better reel then the morris, the morris has a cheap finish that flakes off after time.however the new patriarchs are lookn pretty sweet and alot lighter @ 6.8oz. and that carbonfiber handle and eva paddles, thats going to be sweet reel when it comes out in a few months.but now that abu garcia and pflueger are being made together im not sure if they are still doing bps reels.im sure somebody will let you know soon enough.
  19. I have 2 DSG and a Gander Mountain within 20 minutes of me... and would trade all 3 for a BPS. Thought the Cabellas is nice even though its about 1.5 hours. The nearest BPS is in Chicago about 3 hours away. Always thought it was very odd why WI doesn't have a BPS. ouch..that blows..i feel for ya...yea lets see...chicago hmm lake michigan and small lakes here n there...wisconsin 1,000 of lakes and no BPS...johnny moneybags morris is missing out on filling his deep pockets even deeper..that honestly is kind of shocking, thats like not having a walmart in arkansas ;D
  20. welcome to the club now lol....congrats!!!!
  21. WOOPS on you lol...eh it happens.
  22. i dont like it either, didnt do much for me or my line imo so i dont use it,to me its all hype.an expensive wd-40,i used to use that blakemore stuff few years back to,same stuff.
  23. NO..they took all you suckers credit card numbers and fled the country..sorry no glitch :
  24. i have a dicks littelry 4 blocks from my house, and it blows nuts, the fishing section is like 6 isles of cheap tackle except for the plastics and ragetaill stuff.i only go there in a pinch or if im to tired to take the 35 min. drive to bps.
