  1. Yeah, you're right. He clearly did earn his spot and deserve to be there. There are several guys in his shoes, they can fish or they wouldn't be there, just aren't putting it together at the next level. I give them all the credit in the world for living the dream.
  2. Spools are made of aluminum, so no.
  3. That looks more like something somebody made than an actual factory bait. It looks like a Yamamoto Mini Skirt and a twin tail grub glued on a jighead.
  4. He's either really lucky or really good. You could tell the other guy wanted nothing to do with it.

That's a great price on those! I was going to get a pair but they didn't fit my face right.
  6. I've got the same Tatula 7'2" MHR rod. I also have one of the older Alton Jones Magnesium cranking rods. It is composite though, I don't think it compares to the new Mag rods. I like both rods a lot, for what it's worth.
  7. They show up on ebay occasionally too.
  8. I'm in Dallas and our Academy's don't carry 6th Sense. It's probably a good thing for me.
  9. I don't think Sancho has placed above about 90th in his year a half on the Elite Series. I have nothing against the guy but he doesn't belong. I wouldn't pick him for anything.
  10. That sucks man. I wonder if the package was addressed wrong or they just delivered it to the wrong place?
  11. NFC HM is where I would start looking too.
  12. No you can't do it without something to physically turn the rings, a lathe works best. Some people make makeshift lathes with drills that work. The cork rings are much larger in diameter that a grip. You have to glue the rings together and then put them on a lathe to shape them. That's why it's called "turning grips" like you asked earlier.
  13. Nice Daiwa collection. Today mine is my 15 Conquest 200, it's subject to change though.
  14. The MH LTB is going to be heavier than the MH Powell Max. I don't know about the ***. If you want something similar to what you have, get a M in the LTB.

Awesome baits, did you get the 7" or the 9"?
  16. I have a friend that lives on the coast who has a tackle box full of Strike Pro hardbaits. He swears by them for trout and redfish.
  17. Walmart It's generally considered rude to post a random question in someone else's thread.
  18. I can't wait to see what Daiwa releases for the US market. I've seen some of the new reels Daiwa Japan has, I just wonder how many are coming here. Daiwa is also now the US distributor for Evergreen International. I'm hoping we see a bunch of new Evergreen stuff too.
  19. I favor the Lucky Craft KJ Flat.
  20. He used a 6XD, 8XD, 10XD, a hair jig, a spoon, either a Rage Thumper worm or a Rage Cut R Worm on a swing head, a hollow belly swimbait and a drop shot rig. He was pretty open about his baits.

That's one thing you can say for certain about this game.
  22. I would say the rest of the season sets up well for Aaron Martens, Edwin Evers, Brent Ehrler and KVD. All 4 are in the top 10 and they all can win smallmouth events on the Great Lakes.
