  1. Weightless Super Fluke.
  2. Yeah, they are definitely softer than Zoom worms. They also don't have anything with a tail like the Zoom Shaky Head Worm. They have one that has a flat tail and one with a bulbous, Trick Worm style tail. I've been fishing them on a heavy shaky head, haven't tried a C-rig yet.
  3. Check out Upton's Customs. They have some large finesse style worms that have great action. I've only recently discovered them but I am highly impressed with their action and colors. They have a decent assortment of sizes too.
  4. Yep, pick one you like and go for it. They all work.
  5. I prefer a round bend hook on walking baits. The thought behind this is they are more likely to stick a fish that just swipes at the bait. The EWG's with in-turned hooks will be less likely to stick those fish, they will keep stuck fish buttoned better though. I like Owner St 36's on walking baits.
  6. I'm going to say Texas. Great freshwater fishing, great saltwater fishing, great hunting, 12 month a year climate and great diversity in environment types/habitats.
  7. The biggest problem with the NFL right now is the commissioner. How can anyone else be fairly held accountable for anything when the leader of the league isn't?
  8. x2
  9. MS MJ Herring in 115
  10. Megabass rods, Daiwa reels, or Shimano Loomis.
  11. Costas glass lenses are heavy. Oakley doesn't make glass lenses. I said their polycarbonate lenses are similar.
  12. Before you question anyone's intelligence, you might want to work on your pronoun usage and spelling. People complain that Costa's glass lenses are heavy, it has nothing to do with frames. I seriously doubt there is much difference between Oakley's polycarbonate lenses and Costa's polycarbonate lenses. In other words, it's your opinion, which shouldn't be stated as fact. Learn some manners, listen more and speak less, it will serve you well.
  13. I actually prefer the regular Sufix Performance over the 832. I think you will like it.
  14. Of course you should.
  15. I buy a lot of tackle on Ebay. One thing I always try to keep in mind when on an Ebay binge is whether or not I would buy said tackle if I saw it in a store at that price. If the answer is no, I know it's time for me to get off the computer for awhile. It's easy (for me) to get caught up in a good deal when you really don't want or need the item to begin with.
  16. The Vagabond Glide Hustler is the closest thing to a bluegill shaped jerkbait I can think of.
  17. How much do you want to spend?
  18. Really wishing I would have gone with a C140 instead of the R135 I got. They are sweet boats and dry.
  19. That's a great color for just about any condition. It's one of my favorite Zoom colors.
  20. I don't usually get too hung up on colors unless the water is crystal clear or very murky. I'm probably going to be throwing a green pumpkin, black or watermelon base in most water colors.
  21. I started using baitcasters at about 10 but don't remember any of those early reels. I do remember getting a Daiwa Procaster for my birthday at about 15 that cost $100. I saved up and bought an Allstar Zell Rowland Topwater Special, (that I still have) to put the reel on. That was my first nice combo and I loved everything about it.
  22. I use burl and burnt cork along with top grade cork on all my builds. The burl keeps the costs down a bit and the added weight on the handle never hurts when it comes to balance. I'm a big fan of burl and the like.
  23. I don't know what size they will use but I put size 3 ovals on mine, works great.
  24. This is my 3rd or 4th summer sunscreen free and I can't see going back. To me, it's much cooler being covered up where the sun can't beat down on your skin. I think you're on the right track.
