  1. They haven't sent you a tracking number yet? I placed an order Thursday and it will ship tomorrow, I already have a tracking number.
  2. Sometimes they just don't have it good and you don't get a good hookset, it happens.
  3. It's basically the US version of the Alphas. Keep in mind you can get a 2015 Alphas with a better spool, clicking drag star and handle for right around $200. I wouldn't pay much for a used Sol.
  4. It looks pretty stock to me. The handle appears black in the picture because of the angle but it's plain like that. The drag star also has those rounded tips, the nut retainer is right and the knobs are definitely right.
  5. Wow, Z Man must not know about those yet.
  6. The 110 Silent Riser is the one I use as well. I use it mainly on one of the few clear lakes I fish during the summer.
  7. One of my favorite Spro colors too!
  8. Yes they are! I'm hoping they perform as good as they look.
  9. Only you can really answer that question. To me, yes they are.
  10. My Tatulas haven't grooved but I know that if they did, Daiwa would take care of it. I would buy another TWS reel in a heartbeat without any fear.
  11. I fish Senkos, so no, I don't worry about it.
  12. I was putting up baits yesterday and I took a couple of pics of some I've purchased in the last month or so. Sorry for the bad pics.
  13. I'll throw them over deep trees and around cover but I don't throw them into cover. I'll use a sq bill or soft bait for that.
  14. You will not find a better $4 crankbait anywhere. I don't like all the H20 stuff but the hardbaits are excellent.
  15. I do still have factory rods in the rotation. Just because I build my own rods doesn't mean I'm not still curious about certain factory rods. Frankly, sometimes I just want a new rod sooner than I can get one built. I am particular about the rods I buy and most of them are very similar to the rods I would build. My last 2 factory rods are a Dobyn's Champion 805 RM cranking rod and a 7'3" HXF Kistler Helium 3.
  16. Yeah, why are you buying a 50 piece kit anyway? I always thought those were for people who didn't fish to give as crappy gifts to people who do.
  17. First of a couple of shipments from Japan came in today.
  18. Big Hammers are awesome swim jig and bladed jig trailers and great on jig heads too. I've never used their jig heads though, I really like the Warbait heads.
  19. No need to apologize bud. I'm by no means a snake expert, I was just curious about it and started looking for reports online and couldn't find one. I think that story must be so popular because it's about as scary as it gets. lol
  20. There are many species of snakes that ball up like that but cottonmouths aren't one of them. That scene from Lonesome Dove is pure fantasy. I can't find one news story of that ever happening but I can find many from herpetologists saying it doesn't happen. It's even on snopes. http://www.snopes.com/critters/snakes/waterski.asp
  21. I hate to break it to you guys but Cottonmouths don't breed in balls. All those stories are just that, stories. There isn't one verified account of that ever happening. It's an urban legend, or a rural legend, as it were.
