  1. I've been to the powerplant discharge on a couple of occasions this winter (in single digit temps). Nothing so far and my STX froze up BUT Ill keep going because I hate being stuck inside.
  2. Okuma makes awesome stuff! Youll be pleased. I beat the heck out of mine and they always come back for more. Happy birthday by the way!
  3. Donate (if you can). Fishing is contagious. Share the enjoyment.
  4. x2! x3! (Pro Q will do also but you cant beat Abu)
  5. Strike King square bills (1.5, 2.5) in bluegill. XCalibur squarebills in bruiser and citrus shad. You'll be all set.
  6. Im not a hunter. I LOVE the "surprise" factor when fishing. Though Im always impressed by the pros who find their spots with electronics, use jigs/cranks to refine them, then catch 'em. Read Ike's blog on Bassmaster. Its awesome. Electronics are only part of the fish catching equation.
  7. I just saw a tip on backwards texas rigging baits in the latest Bassmaster. The bait they were using is a Berkeley bait that I cant seem to find anywhere else and it meets the description of the new bait rumors. I wonder if thats the one.
  8. x2. I cant wait for the Spring either. Everything is frozen SOLID here. The way we're going, soft water may not happen until June.
  9. I would clean them out if our Walmart's carried this stuff. Unfortunately, they only seem to carry 8" storm saltwater grubs with 4oz lead heads, rooster tails, and the occassional package of zoom salamanders.
  10. Im happy this is gone. Though, I'd be a little frustrated if I was a paid member of B.A.S.S..
  11. Netbait Paca Cunk and the Rage Tail Chunks are my staples
  12. Great fish! Im jealous. We're covered in ice and snow with more on the way. I'll just have to live vicariously until the water softens.
  13. I have a 5-6 light action that I use when Im fishing out my small inflatable. It doesnt take up much space and it allows me to make accurate casts. Its also a ton of fun when you hook into a decent one.
  14. My vote is for the Vendetta. I have a couple and absolutely love them.
  15. Sweet! You'll fall in love with the Revo quickly.
  16. Nice fish FMoore! You definitely had a solid weekend. I had a tough day on Massabesic yesterday. We boated five bass and an overly aggressive perch which hit a lipless crank. Largest was 2-5. Bites were few and far between and there were a TON of boats on the water. I haven't been able to figure that place out. It continually frustrates me. I hope everyone had a good weekend. The fishing wasn't great for me but the weather was excellent.
  17. Congrats man!
  18. Thanks FMoore. Nice job in that tourney. Where were you finding your fish? Im thinking that they're moving up and hugging cover with these warm temps and high skies.
  19. Afternoon gentlemen. Weather this weekend is spectacular. Got out on Dublin this morning for some brookies. Managed 20+ in a couple hours. I stopped counting at twenty. Found a nice little school and had an awesome time. Hope everyone is on them this weekend.
  20. I would. I have an SX and I love it. Seems like a great deal.
