Sk Elaztech Plastics
I have a ton of these baits because a while back wal-mart had them on clearance for like .25 a pack. I really like the fluke type one, the Zero, and their ribbon tail worms. They last forever and the worms stand up nicely on a texas rig. I have some lizards and craws but I have never used them.

A spoon fished through thick pads is great here in FL.

Where Do You Find The Berkley Amp Rods?
Dick's has them. My buddy bought one. It was fairly light and sensitive for such a cheap rod, but it snapped in half within about 2 weeks. Could have just been one bad one though.

Belly Hook
Yeah. I have caught a lot of fish with chunks missing out of them and plenty of fish with big scars.

Some Techniques Just Don't Seem To Work.
I caught a bass on a crank today! A nice 3lber on a KVD 1.5 in bluegill color. I also caught a HUGE mudfish on that same crank.....lol. Now if I could just catch something on a spinnerbait.....

Wade Fishing For Big Bass
Went to the normal spot. The avg depth in this lake is 2 feet so I was wading around throwing into any deep holes I could find. All 3 of my fish in the pics came on Super Flukes in Baby Bass color. My uncle was throwing the same bait. I caught some more solid 2-3 pounders on speed worms and a KVD 1.5 in Bluegill but my phone died before I could get pics. I had a HUGE mudfish literally swim right up to me and take my fluke as I was reeling it in, he instantly cut my line with his teeth. It was pretty cool though. Caught another huge mudfish on the KVD 1.5.

Some Techniques Just Don't Seem To Work.
Spinnerbaits! I'll be throwing them in what seems to be perfect conditions and can never catch a thing. I'll throw a fluke or some other plastic in the same spots I was fishing the spinner and catch fish right away. The closest I've come this year is having a bass chase my spinner and miss it.

Took The Little Brothers Fishing
Took my two little brothers(well they are my fiances brothers, might as well be mine though lol) bass fishing. They are just starting out, they want to do it because they see me do it all the time. The oldest wanted to use a baitcaster like I do so I gave him an old one I had. He insisted on using a Jig and actually caught a fish right away with it! He missed another one later on. The youngest is just learning to use spinning gear and he managed to catch a nice fat little bass on a Senko I rigged up for him. I caught some tiny ones and a couple that were in the 2-3 range, decent fish. Got them on Super Flukes (baby bass color) and Speed Worms (Junebug). I also caught a nasty mudfish.

So I Started To See Preivews For That Hog Wrangling Show...
I'm not gonna lie, I laughed at the one that talked about the Pigs coming back and eating the kids sausage link.

Going Mac
I just built myself a new PC. i5-2500k with a P67 board, 8 gigs of RAM, a 64GB SSD, an HD 6950 GPU, 1GB HDD, a Seasonic PSU, a Cool Master Hyper 212+ cooler, and a nice case with 4 120mm fans. I have right around $1000 in it. I already had the monitor. But it's a 22" Asus 1920x1080 I paid $150 for. I could have added 3 more hard drives, a bigger SSD, 16 gigs of RAM, and not even come close to $1800. If someone didn't know how to build that rig would for sure go for $1800+ though, and the majority of people that buy computers just get pre-built ones.

Fishing With A Fellow Forum Member
Met up with FishUNF to do some fishing in one of his spots since we have just been hitting my spots lately (and they haven't been producing much lol). We started at about 8:30 and on my second cast I had my best fish of the day (in pic below). Caught it on a Zoom Speedworm. I was fishing it topwater over grass and killing it over the holes in the grass, the bass absolutely slammed it. Caught about 5 more solid keeper fish between the 1.5-3 range but the bite slowed down fast as the day went on, we stopped at about 11:30. The rest of the fish were caught on Junebug Trick Worms, and Watermelon Zoom Lizards texas rigged weightless. Late that afternoon after the rain hit I decided to try a spot by my house but didn't have much luck. 1 small bass and two big Mudfish.

Fishing Thick Grass
Weightless Zoom Super fluke Weightless Rage Tail Anaconda Weightless Zoom Trick Worm Rage Tail Craw on a light keel weighted hook Rattle Trap ripped through the top of the grass 75% of the waters I fish are grass infested and all of these are killer when worked over the grass. Just pick the right color for the water clarity and catch some fish.

Sale Reels
For $79 nothing beats the Pro Qualifier. I paid $99 for mine and I'd gladly do it again. Fantastic reel.

Going Mac
This is the biggest problem I have with Macs. I can build an i7/i5 rig, 8 or 16 gigs of RAM, an SSD, and even a powerful graphics card (HD6950 or GTX560) for like $1000. I'd have to take out a loan to get a Mac with that kind of power. Virus problems on windows are way overblown. The only AV I run is the FREE Microsoft Security Essentials and I haven't had a virus in a LONG time. Smart web browsing and downloading is the best AV you can get. Apple products are "cool" and all, but they are incredibly overpriced. They do make one hell of a marketing campaign though.

I Want To Learn To Drop Shot
It's a pretty versatile rig. You can use it deep or fairly shallow, I've fished it in as little as 3 feet of water. You can cast it, flip it, drop it down. You can fish it on deep ledges our you can beef it up a bit and fish it around cover like grass lines, stumps, docks, etc.. Most people think of it as a deep water finesse rig but it is really so much more than that.

Nice. As soon as I replace the lights on my trailer it sounds like a plan. Let me know when you plan on trying the spot on Pritchard and we can do some fishing, it's all from the bank out there though.

Nice, thanks man. I'll have to give that spot a try some time. I've heard good things before about the ponds around UNF. We should fish those sometime. Are you aloud to put small boats in at the donut lake? I have a 10ft Bassbuster type boat that is killer in small lakes/ponds.

Rage Craws...keel Weighted...
This thread popped into my head while I was fishing today and I put a Baby Brush Hog onto a keel wighted hook. First 6 casts, 6 hits, 5 fish. They were just destroying it after the first twitch every time. I wanted to try it with my rage craws and anacondas but I wasn't about to switch when I was getting bit like that. Next time though....
