So is my temp right. Mine says 83 which later in day maybe 1:00 and this was on Sunday yours 88 for Friday. The water temp really drop that fast. I know we had cool weather and that rain storm Saturday. Maybe it did knock the temp down. I know my first few post was at Smoot's pond by my house. I think the is close to 90 acres. He was telling me about trout fishing in AP Hill and how well he did. They stock very nice trout. He had a pic of one over 20" so this year I might give it a shot. I bass fish there at the time just never tried the trout. I was upset when he told me I didn't have to pay the launch fee when ask how come I didn't have my pass there. So next year I will be getting my pass there, I just couldn't afford both and I'm dieing to take the wife there. She will love it. We tried Orange this year but left the finder at home and only landed 1. And man the bite seemed off at Hunting run sunday. We landed 25 together. I think one of my problems when trying to detect fish was I was expecting a red or blue arch something like with fish id but I'm glad I have been getting arches now. At first couldn't tell and yes I wish it got the 570 Di instead but didn't have instock at the time when got this model. Far as surface clutter what should that be set too or around what setting? What about 83hz setting? Mine is at 2 I think. What about noise filter and bottom view? what should they be set too?

I turned down the scroll speed. Yea i just turned off to see how it would look. I keep it off usually. I had it set on 13 for this and also is that a Thermocline I'm looking at? On the other side of lake didn't see any but might be cause the depth of lake is much deeper? Later on in the day when back to the one side of the lake the I guess thermocline was back on screen staying at same depth where ever I went. Here is the other side in 27'

I do too like my PQ. It's 6'6 MH-F(casting) that I used for frogging but have used it for wacky. Now I use it for jigging since I got another rod for frogging. I also like my Carbon lite. I have 2 a 6'8 M-XF for shaky(spinning) and a 7' MH-F(casting) for cracks and rattletraps. I also like my Browning Citori spinning rod 7' M-F but now I think the only come in combo form?? I bought it when was on clearance and has to be one of my favorites. I do like howthe GSX Elite II felt in the store but now they raised the price to $100, sucks was $80 last year but might be worth it not sure. I use Owner wacky hooks or Gamakatsu finesse wide gap both are either 1/0 or 2/0, mainly 1/0. I even tried the BPS circle hooks. I find the weedless Gamakatsu pointless for the price. I still tend to get snagged. If want to learn how to make your own weedless PM Wayne P. I'm sure he will help you. Next time also when out and about get some 3/8 shrinking tubes and cut them down 1/4 or so and try those for wacky also. Seems more people even myself does that than the O-rings. I even have some O-rings and the tool but never used them since I bought it.

My reel actually was a combo but I like both. The BPS Micro lite Elite. I landed 2.8 bowfin with no problem. the best I have on it so far. There's even times when I'm catching dinks I will take out the combo and wacky rig with it.

Man I wish I was there and the glades or Florida itself. My brother been topwater here in Va today. Lost god had to be over 6 to 8 pounds maybe more who knows. My 4.9 doesn't compare to his at all from what saw when the jump out and shook his lure off. He was using a Top Dog JR. Far as frogs I've trying but my luck hasn't been good this year so far just 2. Me and my brother Punkinseedfyretailz went to Huntingrun today and got there at opening which is 6 am. Got on water at 6:30, I was talking to the guy running the shack one of the nicest man you can meet. The water started of 81 degrees and reach 83 at the time we left which was around 3 pm. We had one first thing in the morning but as the day went on it became sunny. Started off great. My cast at boat ramp and landed small bass on his Top Dog JR. WE moved on I landed a 3.2 on wacky Senko plum apple. Pretty much after that bites just died. The spots that normally work for us, nothing took. Towards the end we manage a few more. We did have allot of misses. Me 4 and my brother about 8. We would manage to get them close to the boat and all of sudden our wormms flew back at us literally . I landed 13 all on wacky Senko plum apple and Senko bama bug. I tried a few times a black and blue chatterbait, My *** Big Bomb round bill in short-fused, A couple of times a black and blue jig around trees and beaverdams. My brother 11 on wacky Zoom trick worm white, Trigger X June bug. He had a couple on his chrome rattle trap. 1 on his Top Dog JR. He also tried a small chatterbait, a couple of cranks, and Carolina rig. He lost I swear ranging from 6 to 8 pounds on his Top Dog Jr. Got the bass all the way to the boat for the bass to make another attempt to run and when did he jumps out the water and shakes of the lure. Talk about a heartbreaker. He was ready to go him after that. I just no that bass, my 43lbers doesn't even compare to this bass in size. Is this a Thermocline? Yea all yours, lol. For real get it. I came across but not have the money for but anyone in Va Greentop has A Patriarch on a 7'10 Fenwick rod. I think it was a MH not sure of action or what brand of rod. Rod to tall for my liking but the combo is $199 the last I saw it.

Yea Yea Yea.lol Yea but seriously thank god it was preseason not how much or bad Alex Smith look but starting of 0-5 is not good. ended with 2-7 10 yards and 2 sacks before they snatched him out. The rookie QB finished the game but stat wise very bad so................... Hopefully they can get they're act together before season starts.
