  1. I'm just trying to see if someone can give pointers on if I'm set ok or what should be done. I did lower my setting after fooling around but still confused on rest.
  2. I'm still having a hard time understanding the finder. I turned off fish ID so now it's like where the fish?? Yea I jig a few trees. I like to post pictures of where I fish so I can be open for ideals by others and others can get a feel of the places I fish. Thanks ICU Here's where I'm confused on what to do besides lower sensitivity. Can't make nothing out at all and know whats what. This is at sensitivity 11 surface clutter 3 This is at 9 or 10 surface clutter I think at 2 I don't know how make that out?

I use this but I think I landed one fish so far. It was mainly for the chartreuse.
  4. Mine both are 6' runners.
  5. Nice so is the Hud ruin now?? Never heard of those looks neat. Man I need to find some LMB and Smallies together. Are my spots I fish is LMB only, we have some just to far the ones I know. Keep it up ICU!
  6. I have the gizzard shad and the pumpkinseed. I only caught one fish using the pumpkinseed.
  7. Looks allot like Kopper's beside they added some spots on belly. Any videos on the action? Excellent price if are some good frogs. Did you order any? If do let me know how they do. These and KVD sexy frog! I went to Green Top other day and pick up my Deps soft crawler but didn't see these or KVD's there.
  8. I would. I like to try every approach with a chatter too. I cast out and reel fast or slow or I might just let sink some or all the way and reel fast or slow. I might pause a few times but most of my hits come by a slow retrieve just enough to feel the chatter vibration in my rod. I would just cast fan cast too as I work around the pond and keep at it till time to go! Believe me it's the only thing that works for me. My cranks keeps picking up grass. Shallower cranks no hits. Plastics I had only 1 hit on everything I tried. Senkos, Rage Tail space monkey and rooster, bush hawgs, curl tails. If I let the chatter fail to bottom I do sometimes pick up grass but I can easily shake that off with a twitch. My brother has landed a few on cranks at the pond we fish.
  9. When fishing small ponds especially when roaming I love my chatterbait. I had great luck with a mini white chatter with a live magic shad as trailer. I'm trying the full size chatter in both white/chartreuse and Black/blue, same trailer just the larger live magic shad in those colors. I haven't got the chance to try them at that pond I fish but do well on lakes and rivers. Even this nice 1.5 crappie. God I hate not having my bandana. haha!
  10. Same here never caught any on any kind of Senko. Actually pull out two bass with a watermelon from the same hole that my brother was fishing near and he pulled out two cats with a Powerbait or Gulp can't remember. He was cussing me I know that for the bass, lol.
  11. It's ok I heard two different things about Smoot's but I still go and try. 5 in one day there is my best. and 3.12 is the biggest I pulled out of there. but with the way the grass is there man it makes fishing hard. I didn't get to go to the back of the pond like I wanted too. Man talk about lilies, that's all the back of the lake is. Next time I probably try Boyou last I remember it doesn't a grass problem.
  12. I never used that brand but from what others say I would when can unless you truly like the line upgrade to better brand. Here was a topic what people thought of it. Probably more reviews in search. Some did though like the line but majority hates it.
  13. Thank god for preseason!! lol
  14. Those are very beautiful photos. I really like the last one. Is that clouds or rays from the sun? I love their homes. Thanks for sharing!!
  15. Just some pictures of the pond. The tree I caught the bass on jig from Smoot's lilies and grass. The lure is the Deps soft crawler one of the coves The end of that cove a tree another tree more lost a jig hit here how dirty Smoot's is
  16. I got into the water maybe 6:45 and left at 12:30. The water temp started off round 81 and reach 83 by the time I left. The water was very murky but this is how Smoot's is, nothing new. I landed 5 biggest even 2# from what scale said. Landed the 2# on a black/blue jig, Netbait Paca Chunk(same color) fishing in a fallen tree. 4 other on wacky, Senko Plum apple. I lost a good hit later on the same jig. I also tried frogging today but no luck. several misses though on both Deps Basirisky hard belly soft crawler Night Head and Spro Bronzeye65 Midnight Walker. Just bought both of those yesterday to try. Sorry for the date forgot to fix it on the camera. Depth finder. I had the switchfire set to clear mode when messing with it. Jig fish 2# Only wacky fish picture. Probably the biggest.
  17. Ps3

I think my gamer tag for 360 is the same as PS3. i just need to get live again an get my BlackOps fixed.
  18. So True about turtles. I pulled in a American snapper, it had to be 3 feet with no problem. Trying to pull him up on land was though. Soon as he got to use his legs, the turtle snap my line. I'm not sure what an alligator snapper would do. Never caught one of those yet. I know I have seen one close to two foot near my house in the road. I tried removing it and when it snapped at me I Grab I long stick and tried to nudge till it made a run for the creek. Before that it was putting up a mean fight.
  19. What brand of line was you using? I still wouldn't gave up on 10# test. I use it in Suffix flouro with no problem and Trilene flouro no problem. I actually brought in three 4# fish this year with the Trilene. 2 bass at 4.9 and 4.8 and 1 bowfin at 4.6. I am a little weary of my 10# BPS CarbonGold right now but that probably cause I don't like the line. I prefer BPS Flouro as of right now. I do agree with Dodgeguy and Bluebasser86 made allot of sense also.
  20. For a $100 there is some nice choices out there near that but I would clearance shop at stores. I got a Carrotstix 7'6 H-F for $80 originally $149. It's my frog rod but it's not very comfortable to me. Crazy part I went in for the Veritas but didn't have what I wanted.
  21. I'll handle bass like in first video, thumb in mouth and use my forceps to get the hook out. If hook is in the way of me grabbing the bass than I would use the forceps first, grab hook, then place my thumb in the bass mouth and remove hook. The forceps are nice. I stole and ideal from seeing one of J Francho pictures I crimp the forceps on my shirt so it is always near by. If weary of fish action I use to use this. Bought it at BPS Me with the glove
  22. Are you asking how to remove gut hook fish or just removing in general? If general I use forceps. If never held a bass neither here... For gut hook fish I use to let the bass just have it but I'm going to try this
  23. Senko_77- I tried sending you a PM but said you can't receive messages. I left a comment instead on your BR page. I want to know more about the tube, internal weights and overhand knot?
  24. Here you go this video explains the difference in jigs.
  25. I wish I could help but they do make grass jigs maybe try one of them? All Terrain Tackle Grassmaster Jig http://www.***.com/All_Terrain_Tackle_Grassmaster_Jig/descpage-ATTGJ.html#multiview If that don't help maybe PM GMAN or River Rat316
