Line For Wacky Rigging
Me I'm using 10# Trilene flouro. I have used braid before in 30# Packard PM Sam or Wayne P. Those two has help me allot when came to understanding wacky and they're the ones that got me into wacky. I also had good luck in 8# Suffix Elite moss green I think is their color if not, their green color line!

Advice Needed
Did you ever decide yet? If still looking I would consider The GM Tournament Spinning Combo for $79 and then get some nice tackle if in need. $150 can take care of both. http://www.gandermountain.com/modperl/product/details.cgi?i=419935&pdesc=GSX_Tournament_6_ML_Power_Spinning_Combo&aID=504AC1&merchID=4006 I have an older model for about 3 years and I love it. I have the 6'6 M that I use for worms, Wacky rigging. With $150 for a rod and reel the BPS Extreme combo $159 http://www.basspro.com/Bass-Pro-Shops-Extreme-Reel/XPS-Extreme-Trigger-Rod-Baitcast-Combos/product/10204889/-1664741 or PQ combo $169 http://www.basspro.com/Bass-Pro-Shops-Pro-Qualifier-Baitcast-Combos/product/102398/-1522975 might be the best bet for in the price range unless can still jump on the clearance deals they had going on or some sale somewhere. If you trying to get a Baitcaster. I would also see if they had any of the older RCX's rod and reel in. My wife has the Extreme 6'6 M she likes it, it's ok to me. When I do use hers I will mostly use it for C-rigs. I do have a 6'6 MH PQ that I like. I use to use for frogging but now it's my jig setup since I got me a frog setup now. I will still use for my hollow bodies though. Definitely look into bargain bins for sure. I got Citori 7' M Spinning rod for $40, originally $99 then.Probably my favorite rod that I have, I use for Chatterbaits. . I also got the Citori baitcaster for $69 ($99)and I did, paired it with a 7'6 H Carrotstix for $89($149) that I use for Frogging now. So far mine hasn't broke yet, lol. There is deals out to be got just have to find them.

Favorite Worms And How To Use Them In Heavy Cover
I usually fish the out side of cover or just go for it and toss it in. If speaking of like beaver dams The ones I try to fish I can't find away in there. There heavily covered so I fish the outside of them. Lilies I always had a great success with wacky on the outside of them. I might toss a T-rig in there sometimes. Submerge trees Wacky, T-rig, Shaky or just stick to jigging them. Find the right jig for that purpose you might not get snagged no where as much if have a problems with jigs cause of that. If must be a worm they make weedless hooks expensive but ok. Ok cause I still manage to get snag. I would also PM Wayne P and ask him about his weedless wacky if he doesn't respond to your topic. To me heavy cover is just one of those areas where you have to take the good with the bad. I also have two rod lined with braid but I will still toss in with 10# flouro since already rigged up. Most of the time if do get a bite I'm more likely loosing it to the trees anyways. One of the braided rod is for jigging and I'm trying to break away from the worms and gain more confidence in my jigging. Next time out my wife's rod is lined with braid so I might try hers with a worm. I'm not sure my post helps a whole lot and the more successful angler will have more to offer which I will be tuning in for ideals as well.

Topwater Frogs
Here is a topic they had a while back on what people like. I don't have any hawgs yet but do well with the Spro Leopard. My biggest fish I landed was a 4# bowfin that I landed on a Ragetail. Green Pumpkin/pearl I think. Since your from Fredericksburg and incase wondering about where I caught these at or do my frog fishing, AP Hill. Well worth $20 a year if have a clean background since they do checks. These pics are from Boyou right off rt 2. I can't wait to get one of these to try out but God are they worth $20?? I'm going soon to have to find out!

In Need Of Some New Flouro
From what I seen there's no #15 in XPS at least at the store. I use the #14 in XPS it's .013 diameter. #12 is .012.

In Need Of Some New Flouro
XPS might be the best in your range, that or maybe try Seaguar red label http://www.basspro.com/Seaguar-Red-Label&153;-Fluorocarbon-Fishing-Line/product/104164/-1557328 It has decent reviews. I know nothing about it just it listed at $12.99 for 10# Maybe ask around?? The rest most likely be in the $20 or over range depending on what pd test besides the likes of Vanish, Triple fish, Viscous. I do use XPS onmy casting gear which I like. So far that all I used. I did tried a few other on my spinning gear like Suffix, XPS CarbonGold, Trilene, Seaguar Carbon Pro(no longer I think) all in 10# and I like Suffix out of them on my spinning gear. I don't recall Suffix causing me any problems but finding out now 10# is too much for spinning gear which would be my fault on the rest I tried. Trilene I have a hard time with the knots Which I think someone mention before about the knots.

New Baby Boy
Congrats on the new boy!! That's how I feel about my son, I mean we got big people in the family like my wife's brother who 6'2 and was over 300 lbs( now he down to 240). My papa was prob 6' and maybe 200 in younger days. But for me and my wife, I'm 5'6 170lbs( 120 in school) and my son is about to be 4 and already have my size. That's him in the avatar. I never heard the name Chaston so I like that. You do a theme for the nursery? I can't remember how long you gone for? Do you do video chat while over seas with the fam?
