What is your purpose of the Carbonlite? I got the same setup and after taking advice here I'd made it into my C-rig setup. if want to learn about Carolina rig incase not sure what it is. Far as what I would definitely add add a finesse light tackle for wacky rigs,weightless worms, shaky, and dropshots. I use spinning gear(Gander mountain Tournament combo) for wacky and It's mostly what I use. Here's a video on wacky and how to rig them if not sure what that is. You don't have to use the heat shrinking tubes but I insist. We most all do but if not that some like those O-rings. Here's is a link to some decent spinning combos that was offer by everyone for less than $100. Here is some nice spinning tackle in this link if want to go spinning. I use a 6'8 M-XF Carbonlite spinning for my shaky. Other than that I might try to get something for cranks. I use the Curado 200E5(5.0:1) with a 7' Crucial M-MF crankbait rod but if those are no longer to be fine most like's slow ratio reels like 5.4:1 or so. There so many routes you can go depending on what your purpose of the Carbonlite. I love throwing out 3/8 Chatterbaits as well but I do that on spinning tackle as well. I wish I knew allot and more will have more insight all I can tell you is the route I went from learning and reading here. Mine has and will blow up my phone so I make sure my bluetooth is charge and on. I don't mind talking to her but need both hands. I hate when it she blows my phone up nut when she doesn't I wonder why she has not called me yet? My wife does get bored or she just like to here if I caught anything yet or how many since our last conversation and If I'm having fun. You know what is worst? Is when me and my brother are out fishing together both wives blows up the phone. Brother don't have one. My wife does love it when I'm sending picture mail of my catches or surroundings. You might just have to go with a bluetooth ear piece if not have one yet. The Jabra BT2080 for $29 at bestbuy works great. I have no prob with mine if wont to go cheaper call around different Game Stops and ask for used bluetooth sets for PS3. Might find a nice one for $20.

Agree!! I got the 7' M-MF crankbait rod a few weeks back and I think it is great.

I talk most of time like some say smack talk with my brother. We battle back and forth when together. I even play low music when we fish together or when alone I put my earplugs in. The music help my keep peace in mind. Me and my brother we talk about whatever also doesn't have to relate to fishing. It's also nice having someone along to blame also like Brushhoggin says, lol. I even have to keep my bluetooth in the ear cause I know almost every 20 minutes or less the wife will be calling!

Me and my wife is really hoping to get out more. We only been out once together this year and sadly I do hate it. I got her a nice combo and a bigger jonboat for us and only 1 time for us. Hopefully when son starts school me and her can fish together more often. I want some pics to post of her and her setting some PB's. My wife is eager to learn how to work the front trolling motor.

The rod is a 7' MH-F(lure wt 3/8-1oz,line wt 10-20lb) with a 6.4:1 ration reel both are the Carbonlite. I was using this for cranks till I got myself another setup for that so now I'm stuck wondering what I should use the Carbonlite for? I have 14# XPS flouro on it but thought about switching off to mono or braid and use it for topwater Spooks and etc or just stay with the flouro and use it for the likes of C-rigs? What would be your choices if was yours? for topwater what are good line for that? I tried a lil search for line but only came up with

Same here for my team as well. Still get the ticket for them but it sure is nice when things aren't going the way you want you can just switch to another game. The tracker is very nice to have too. I just wish the local fox games or whoever is playing on those channels would play on ticket channels. So when I'm flipping channels we wouldn't get that screen searching for game or whatever it says.

I'm trying these Bagley Shaky Jighead I also use these Strike King Tour Grade Shaky jighead And I'm trying these no luck yet on them though Damiki Finesse Miki Other than those worms did ok with the Squirrel Tail by Big Bite Baits. I got some Z-Man Elaztech. I haven't tried them yet. I'm trying to get more into shaky myself. What kind of rod are you using for shaky? I'm almost forget welcome to Bassresource!!

I have fish some areas like this too. When does come to jigs. How do work through grass, a slow retrieve or tiny taps? Any ideal what to look for a grass matts over this spot might hold bass this spot I don't think so? Or do you just cast and work everywhere you can?
