Not here I stayed in. I might try to get out Wednesday and I think me and the wife going our Thursday! But then I think the weather post to get warmer again so I wonder if that will affect bite as well? From what Weather.com says for my area 55 today showers, tomorrow 69, Wednesday 74, and Thursday 67. 68, 73, 77 for Friday and weekend if stays the same if anybody wondering. All sunny besides tomorrow and Sunday partly cloudy. Fall all week and weekend lows are mid 40's till weekend than the 50's. Hopefully weather stays good.

I hope everything gets better for you!! The family problems and the feet issue. I know this older guy with Gout and when it acts up he unable to even walk so I hope you are OK, What is the doctor word or have you not been?

I felt like the bite was off yesterday, lol. I caught 5 at Caroline Pines and all was dinks. 4 on wacky 1 ona Colorado white/chartreuse spinner. A couple of misses on the buzzbait. My wife had 1 on wacky. The water was stained from the rain we had Wednesday so I'm not sure if that had anything to do with it?? The bite was off for this other boater out as well. I want to go tomorrow to Smoot's but don't think I'm going out and not only that I forgot to call to see if is open to fish. Good luck if go out and post your trips outing!! Wow I bet that had to be painful. Luckily I've not been bite yet. The last one I caught that I mention on wacky was an American snapper but I caught him from the boat. Got him at the boat he might be 2-2 1/2 long and was think about putting him in boat till line snapped. After that I was thinking to myself yea how your going to get him out?? After since the Alligator gator snap at me I won't touch them again. I don't know how to handle them so I won't try to pretend I do again, lol. Here's the one I caught on wacky.

I think I catch one It's coming home with me!! Either I'm going to try and cook it or find someone that knows how. I heard turtle has like 11 different flavors? I caught 2 big ones. 1 on wacky and the biggest had to be close to full size on a minnow. both American snappers. Never hook an Alligator snapper yet but have tried to remove one out the road before. By the time I was done my stick wasn't a stick no more. Boy was he mad and are I was trying to do was help. First thing I tried to do was reach down and grab him big mistakes snap at me and my brother heard them jaws from inside the car. He was probably close to 2- 2 1/2 feet tail to head. Back to you post. I like your write up, nicely done. Did you still fish the lure or was it ruin? Sucks you couldn't get a photo. Congrats on the turtle PB!!!

I think it is to be use more on far as good advice or bad but I think it does get use wrongly at times or use more for popularity reasons. Heck why should it matter anyways? Your is excellent!! Just joking but it is excellent though

I don't practically care either. My PB came from muddy water after the water rise from all that rain we got that one week about a month or so back. Most lakes or ponds I fish from AP Hill are murky. Some are clear less rain or weather affected it. My favorite color I use for wacky has produce no matter the condition, same for chatterbaits besides lately, topwater seem to be only thing working for me.

You are correct they did calm down allot in the beginning when store first started opening they did hound you in a way especially when they had that one lady with the blondish hair but lately they haven't even stop me and every time I go in there I have to go back by the tanks for my son. He loves the tank or when they have the TV hook up with the fishing game! Sfritr made a very good point and I'm glad he pointed that out!!

It's funny how certain thing works. Not a girl but when involving military my friend had to make a weight requirement for when he signed up for the navy. My other friend who's in coast guard for certain job requirements through them he had to lose certain amount of inches of body fat I guess? He was just telling me. If these are true sad not all military stands by it. That is a funny post though but I can't laugh to hard my wife was big till she had the gastric done. Proud of her for that!!
