Yea I'm trying to talk my brother into going and bringing his boat so that we could both have an open seat for those who don't. The closer the time come the more I'll know about him if he does or can't make it. If he doesn't I'll post an open seat within that week. I might come out there this Sunday and fish a bit. I'm still trying to learn my Humminbird finder and get use to my Bow mount trolling motor. Here I thought the foot pedal would be easy to learn, ha on me Does Powhatan have allot of structure there and sunken trees? I never been there.

My brother actually likes his Pinnacle he got from Walmart for $60 I think. I can't remember the model of it but he got it last year. I know it's not the slider. The good news there is a Pinnacle section with a Pinnacle rep. Pinnacle 1 I think is his name. If willing to up to $69 is the Browning Citori and if it's still at this price at BPS in store? I'm using Strike King shakey jigs for now so far I like them. I have some other brand can't remember names with the worm keepers on it just not much luck with those. I also think I have some Archie also that I haven't had much luck with. Sam I heard Green Top has some nice prices on there shakey head jigs there. Does Green Top got any good deals going on? I haven't been there in a long while now.

I'm in the same boat far as live well. I might be able to rig a cooler with an aerator by then but I do have my scale and camera, and camera on phone as well. I'm willing to go by honor system. So what is the pot going to be? I rather know the rules and pot price now and have everything figure out so when we get there at 7 the only thing to worry about is filling the seats on boats if going that route.

My wife is only 31 and this is her. But to be truthfully honest I'm all for her going cause besides eating out almost every Friday we really don't do nothing exciting together. She does like fishing when do go so I got her own combo and tackle. She definitely wants to do more now after she had the gastric done. She feels more confident and outgoing. Powatan lakes is two parts? Is there access to both sides by boat? I never been and I just looked it up. Also is it a free launch? I'm going to try and make it out on the 19th. My wife is just getting into fishing. So I went and got a bigger jon boat. 14' tracker from a 11' sears to take her with me. My problem I still get the words "do you you really need this now" "It's your money do what you want with it...........but I think it's stupid"................ just for her to either try to claim it to having to share like my hooks, weights, whatever she claiming. I bought her own lil tackle box just for her to attack mine and gut it. Hopefully we will have fun together. She does get excited when we went bank fishing last year and boy don't let her be the only one to catch something. She doesn't hush up and it doesn't matter if your spend your time retying her hooks and trying to get her line out from being snagged.

i just use my braid scissors. just a heap pair I bought from a local tackle shop. I never notice any fraying. I bet my wife's Tonic trimming scissors would work great. I just checked snip with ease on the 852. They're just scrap book scissors. She would kill me if I stole those, lol.

Other than a couple of weeks ago you have much luck at hopyard landing? I know when I catfish we use to go to hick's or green bay. Also ever ate at Buster's place in Port Royal? My wife been wanting to go there. Our lil restaurant use to be Bo's cafe.

Sorry to hear that Fish Chris. I'm the only lefty I know in my family.I know my mom, dad, brothers, and sister are all right handed and what to think the rest outside is too. My son we think will be both. He uses his right hand most but he will switch and use his left at times. Is it still to early to tell in a three year old? Can you write with your left hand Fish Chris?
