Here is what I got. I was bored been off today due to rain so that I would take a few pics of gear. From left to right- BPS Micro Lite Elite 5' combo, GM Tournament 6'6 M combo, Pflueger Supreme 7' M combo, Pflueger President XT with 7' M-F Browning Citori, BPS Extreme 6'6 M-F combo, BPS PQ 6'6 MH-F combo, and BPS CL 7' MH-F combo. The one pic is of my car and jon boat. I just got the trailer not to long ago from father n law and we installed a hitch and trailer light plug to car. So no more carrying the boat on top of car.

Also I recommend whenever you purchase one at make sure they have an extended warranty plan. You will have to pay extra for it but it comes in handy if it's needed. Also if I remember correctly I think Gamestop offers extended warranty for used system also I think it's only for year and not sure of price. My buddy said he got it for his 360 when he bought that used.

Beautiful Gator!! My sister lives in Lafayette, La. I had a good time when I was there, I love the Cajun food. Her Ex husband father could cook, delicious! God now I want a Po boy sandwich. Only place I no here in Va is Popeye's, Maybe Bojangle's not sure. I might just have to check into Crazy Cajun's. It's post to be a authentic Cajun food place. Never check their menu but they got got the best price for crabs that I know of.

Did you fish with the Avid rod and did you put PQ on it? How you find out it was Rick Morris, I bet that was something! Good news at least you didn't go skunk! I hate the getaways big or small.

I never done the swimming part before but couldn't agree even more about charging your battery and If your on a large lake like the ones I fish always rent an extra battery if you only have one. I have two batteries but one is not strong enough to run my trolling motor so that runs my depth finder.

True finding out the hard way. I know my batteries has failed me on several occasions. I know I installed a 12 volt cig plug for my jon boat to run my spot light. I had both battery charged too, got out to lake plugged in light and dead. It drained my battery light that. So no depth finder and lights. I was using my head band light so I could see where I was going on the lake. A couple of years ago Me and my cousin in law went croaker fishing out on Tappahannock river during the beginning of spring at night time while it was pouring down raining. My poncho ripped on me and we both was soaking wet. We wasn't bothered while fishing but when we decided to leave, I dumped the bait out, and started the boat.............Well the boat was dead. For probably an half hour or so trying to get it to start nothing. So I called 911 for help. Now we're wet and cold. 911 ask me do we have kids onboard with us or did we have any medical sickness,after I said no, they said their was nothing they can do. told me to either call sea tow( Expensive and can't travel that far in) or wait till someone can tow us back in. No one on the river that night and hard to say if would be next day cause of weather. We sat for like 4 hours waiting and in the meantime the state boys are trying the best they can for us. Luckily my boat finally started and I had to drive with my lights off in the middle of night dodging crab pots to get to land. What night for us. I did have my oar with me but the current was to strong and I had to stay anchor down so I didn't travel down river. Another story last year I went fishing down on the river by land in the winter with snow on ground. Air temp I think was not even in the 40's( hard to say what it was by the water) when I was finally done I dumped my minnows out packed up, jump in car and hahahahahaha. CAR WAS DEAD! I sat their in the cold for 2 hours waiting for my friend to give me a jump. I even had a cop stop and ask for my license(fishing and driving) and he told me he didn't have cables and their not allow to give anyone a jump. I mean what is that? These are my luck when come to batteries but besides that my tip is don't toss the bait till you know for sure your done and gone. Both incidents I could of been fishing still while waiting. I can't believe how much fishing even if not catching anything keeps your mind occupied from the cold.

Yea my brother bought a Pinnacle reel from Wal-mart a couple of months ago. Not sure if same but the price is so maybe but he seemed to like it. He prefers it over his Pflueger Echelon.

I know near Old Mill park in Fredericksburg there's this old run down plant that has em. Years ago my buddy pulled one out had to be over close to 4 feet in length. At least in our eyes it was,we was teens then. This is when Chesney's (I think that's right?) tackle shop was around. The plant had no trespassing signs up but we fished there anyways. Got ran off by cops once too. Now I just catch them at pond's in AP hill. Ni reservoir has them too. My brother' brother in law caught a 4lber from there. I also heard the Mataponi river near Caroline county has em too. Somebody told me they caught an 8lber from there off Stone Wall Jackson. I'm not sure if true or not.

Nice day and pic. I've been meaning to go out on my river just haven't yet. I do want to go for some Smallmouth's myself. Way to go!

They was a topic on a bat bite here not to long ago. If remember correctly he hooked it and while trying to get it free it bite him. How you manage to get it off or did you? The trout at the same lake you had pics of last time? What you do with the trout, eat em? Man I love them never had tried it till couple of years ago when my uncle cooked some. I still haven't and would love to fish for trout one day. I know we have trout ponds where they stock em here in the winter. I might fish the base by my house this year when they stock em. $5 for the day but I think the limit is 3.

I know I got my son this Zebco 202 with a 3' Invincible Galaxy rod for like 15 bucks from this local tackle shop in Fredericksburg. So far it's great. He just turn three and learning how to cast it. He got a kick out of it when we went to inlaws during the summer and I took a cheap rattle trap, took the hooks off and let him cast it out and reel it back in at the pool. I tell the reel cast great. bought same combo a couple of years ago for my nephew and hell my brother uses it and to get area when we cut through the woods. I've been very impress with it. I was at first going to get him the spincast with trigger on top but I heard that children had of hard time learning with that reel? Have anybody tried those kind?

Watermelon/red, Green pumpkin/red, Green pumpkin/watermelon laminate, June bug, Blue/black laminate or swirl. Those all seem to work the best for me. As of late watermelon/red or green pumpkin/red seem to be the only thing working for me from clear to even very murky waters.

I'm actually going to flip this around. Me, the wife and our 3 year old son went to Denny's today to eat and as getting ready to walk in, this older guy had to be an his upper 70's came out and was holding the door for another person and us. He heard my son say "I eat" and he was smiling and joking back with my son you going to eat. He seemed so happy. Now this made my day. It should be the other way around, us holding door for him but we didn't get the chance and I was just struck.
