  1. congratulations!
  2. I sure hope your not right. my heart would be broken. lol
  3. And that's what I'm hoping for that I got one of the good ones! Can't wait to find out soon.
  4. I do allot of my fishing in AP hill. I usually fish from my jon boat besides Beaverdam. I can walk around that pond. If walk to back of pond there's lilies and tree stumps everywhere. It's like a different pond then. I've been meaning to try Beaverdam when the trout is stock. There's thee ponds you can hit from outside the base but still require permits. Boyou on rt 2. Smoot's on Smoot's rd and Whites lake off of perimeter rd.(I think I spelled that right). Smoot's is not ever 5 minutes from my house. I live on Chase st. I have fished Boyou several times frogging and all the bass I caught from there range within 1.5 lb. I have caught a 4 lb bowfin there on a rage tail frog. Beaverdam I caught a 3.5 lb bass there on a hula popper. 3.12lb at Smoots on wacky. I haven't caught anything good at Whites lake or upper Travis. I've pulled out like a three foot snapping turtle out of lower Travis on a minnow. I've been wanting to frog either Bullocks or Buzzards(can't remember which). It's nothing but lilies there. Engineer pond looks to be deep from when I check it out. Never been to the rest but will try laser range this year. I'm getting my permits again when the water start to the thaw out. Laser range, White's lake, and Smoot's pond you have to call before fishing to see if they training in those areas. The 3.5 lb pic was taken at Mike's tackle shop.
  5. If you are not sure you would like it, why did you buy it? I thought being on clearance it would be a good deal and never know might turn out to be a good rod. Some seem to have no problems with theirs at all. I thought I would take a chance.
  6. I was using PP last year and giving this stuff a try as well. I haven't got the chance to fish it yet though.
  7. Cool and thanks. How well will it be for lilies and frogging?
  8. I went to BPS today and bought a E21 CLTX761H-F-C for 89.77. I hope it was a good deal. Everyone at the store thinks so. I didn't have much money so I paired it with a Browning Citori baitcast reel 6.4:1 for 69.94 and got myself some Suffix 832 50lb. Going to try this stuff out as well. Hopefully everything will go well with no problems. I'll be using it for frogging. For those that use Carrot stix and use to them was this a good buy? and should I like it?? I've gotten use to the bed rep they got and almost strayed away till the clerk told me about the explosion rods had letters CLPX. The good news if does break I'll just take it back and trade for something else.
  9. I'm with Sprint and just ditched my blackberry curve for the HTC Evo. I love it but god I'm lost, lol. I just don't know of any good apps and games to get. Any help? and those with Evo how do you take a clean crisp clear picture?? Mine always seems blurry.
  10. Congrats on your progress and keep up the hard work Chris!! Do you take any shakes, amino acid, creatine or mulitvitamins? I'm 29, 5'6 and somewhat chubby at 172lbs. I've been back involved in weight lifting and jogging on tread mill for about a month. My arms grew already half and inch and my upper body starting to tone up. Still lot of work in the gut section. But the tone is starting to come in. I do the vacuum exercise. I'm hoping to stay at my weight or at 180. In high school I was only 120 pounds with 10" arms. I do the 100% natural oats and whey by Optimum(shake). EFX Kre-Alkalyn pro (creatine) Fish oil, and the mega men sport though I'm soon switching back to my Opti-men(multi vitamin). I also drink the Xtend(amino acid). I hope to be feeling and looking good soon myself. Here's my weights and bench(the date is wrong). I do all my workouts at home.
  11. I made this mistake with my first job. I claimed 1 when my mother was claiming me as well. I had to pay back over 200 dollars. I was either 16 or 17 at the time.
  12. Is that what makes the knot weak and pop?
  13. endless replied to Sam's topic in Everything Else
Congratulations Sam! How many does that make you or your first grandchild?
  14. I went into the store the other day and I did like the samples they had a display. I ended up buying my wife a gift set from there that comes with the perfect tea maker, 4 different flavors of tea leaves, natural sugar cane, 4 tins to keep the tea leaves fresh, and a measuring spoon. The price was 69.99. Though she loves regular tea from the bags, I'm wondering now after I bought the gift set if it was worth it. The tea taste great from what I sample, especially the Chai and Oolong(not in the gift set). I'm really hoping she loves it. Has anyone ever purchased or have tried anything from there? If so what is your thoughts or any suggestions?? They told me tea leaves are all natural and no calories or fat. Here is the site also http://www.teavana.com/
  15. I had to back off the energy drinks a couple of years ago. I was caffeine and sugar hooked. I would drink two big cups of coffee and an energy drink within couple of hours afters. Head home with another energy drink and more coffee when got home. I was full of jitters and shakes all the time. I was drinking the Monsters, Red Bulls, Java and Kronik. I still drink my coffee which more than I should but that really seems to be a habit I have a hard time trying to break. Still alot but no where what I was drinking. I never tried the 5 hour energy.
  16. I love tap myself as well. I like the Heineken 1.5 gal keg and Miller lite keg as well. I haven't tried the Coors lite one yet. I just don't like the price of them. $19.95 I think around here especially with the Heineken being the same price at least it was then. I prefer the Heineken mini keg as well. Have anyone tried the other Imported mini kegs that Total wine sells? I can't recall the names.
  17. I'm not really a fan of westerns besides 3:10 to Yuma with Christian Bale and Russell Crowe and Tombstone with Kurt Russell and Val Kilmer. I never saw the original but I like the previews for True Grit. I know my father n law is a huge fan of the original.
  18. Yea hopefully it is good. I have it on reserve for $5 but sadly I won't be able to get it tomorrow. I have been enjoying Fallout New Vegas so I'm not not really in need of a new game..........................or am I?
  19. Still very beautiful pics. Congratulations to you and yours. Is this your first child?
  20. I guess it's a duck. We took my son to feed them and this thing was there, plus two with a white head. Thats him with chocolate on his face.
  21. I detect sarcasm. I wouldn't think so, Bass Brat gave thumbs up in the message icon. But that is some good news.
  22. Whoa! That could of been a very ugly situation. Luckily they was given enough time time react.
  23. I see Bald Eagles quite often but none close enough to get pictures of. Nice pic Deb. Nice one too Quake. I have a pic of a Swan I think some where. I think it might of been a pet though cause it wasn't scared of me and when I took out something to eat on my boat the swan seem to want to swim towards me but didn't.
  24. WOW!! Now that's good! Thanks Bird Dog.
