yea i have the net baits chunks. im either going to try my crayfish color jig or the watermelon jig with the chunk. and than i havce my watermelon seed senko 4" and the green pumpkin 5" i gotta look for some of these scent products. walmart only carry yum garlic, powerbait something and gulp alive. i never look at gandermountain or bps to see what they got there. but im def. gonna hit those ponds these weekend. anyone near caroline in va. fort ap hill is only twenty a year and has i think a total of 9 ponds and 3 lakes. like the one in the pic they have a few you can walk completely around then there the some where you need a boat.

yea ima give both my senkos and jigs a shot this sunday. dock master yea i got the name haha. but thanks every one ima give fish hook lake a shot too. its not as wide as the one in the pics and has more of L shape to it. but thanks again everyone if anyone has any suggestions let me know please

just i have a few questions. on flipping jigs do anyone prefer the ones with the rattles or does it make it difference?? also when fishing like a crawfish do you recommend chunks ,crawls, or the 4 inch chigger crawls? i also have another question dealing with scented spray for the jigs and chunks or crawls do anyone recommend garlic scent?? if not what scent? and whats a good scent for plastics? ive posted two attachments of a pond i fish at. how would anyone recommend me fishing it?? i have tried medium minnows but caught few baby bass and some decent cats.

i never fly fish before so im thinking bout the pflueger fly rod starter kit for $49 at bps. seems to have a decent review only three comments but if any one no about it or a decent setup not to expensive let me know cause i wanna learn how to fly fish. i was going to post the rod at bps but the forum wont let me till i posted 10 times it said so..

ive got the seagar carbon pro and i cant keep it on my reel. tried to use real magic but its not helping.i also got spiderwire flouro havent put it to the test to know if is good or not. but next time i think im going with xps myself got their braid and love it but thats for my big poles.

do you know if allowed to fish that plant in ashland? not sure of plant name but seem to have the dam behind the plant. the plant is beside some bridge on rt 1. its look like a good place just not sure allowed to fish there. i only fished the james for cats not bass yet. i might when get a boat or i might just buy a electric motor for my 16' thundercraft and use it.

i myself do the same grab the teeth area. i no someone from gander mountain told me that you grab behind them and he said alot of fishermen have develope calluses if spelled right on the thumb so it doesnt bother them. he also says the make thumb guards for lipping.so if what was told is correct or not, not sure. me im still in the process of learning myself hey im 27 and sqiddish to grab by the mouth i had to let my friend prove to me how to grab a big cat by the mouth before i did,. he did tell me he grabs by the gills if the fish does have teeth i guess preferring to pikes and pikerals and so on i was going to buy grippers.

i have a question about bass fishing in ap hill? im looking to see if anyone knows of some good ponds in ap hill that i can fish for bass from land. ive tried beaverdamn but only seemed small less the 12 inches and only attacking minnows when its not the cats or snapping turtles. so if can give me any help from one the ponds lakes to tips and ideals like what lure to use from crank to plastic. i was trying my watermelon magic rig on a shakey head jig. i even tried my crawfish jig with a crawfish chunk and no luck. thank you mike
