that or the beginning of spring. i try to be smart and bout some ponchos from family dollar. the ripped off and been fishing for hours in the pouring rain than the unfortunate happen boat broke down. out all night trying to get help. i bundled up under my steering column trying to get warm and out the rain. the game wardens dont come only if you have children or illnesses.a night i will never forget. very cold and wet

i use the frogg toggs. its a jacket with a hood and pants combo for 49.99 round my way at wither bps or gandermonutain.. use it both sundays cause of rain though last sunday i was in a down pour and didnt button the jacket. the zipper is not waterproof. my other problem it doesnt have pockets just a button slot to reach into your pants pocket so that works. i didnt get wet at all just when i didnt button up the jacket which i did when i felt the water seeping through! it also comes with a carrying bag too

yea i didnt stop there yet but did walmart and got my booyah pond magic spinner back i lost mine over the weekend fishing. and need to get my silver and black POP R back too. had some luck with those at this pond i fish at. but i do what to try some xps poppers out.

the same for me the 4" watermelon senko. im trying to see if i have another go to in the plastic department. my bother has good luck with the culprit pumpkinseed firetail. so i bought the zoom version but havent tried it yet. and im still debating on the shakey heads. i get hits just cant seem to hull them in.

today i was using the green pumpkin 5" senko had decent luck but all the bass was under a foot. caught 2 small crappie as well on the senko. now i have to stop by my bps. i lost two poppers and my white spinner. my silver/black 3 inch popper caught me two lil ones too. my spinner i got 1 with than snag on a branch.man im upset not only two poppers and 1 spinner but my crawfish jig,watermelon jig,shakey head worm and jig head, and one senko.man what a day!! i might try the xps popper from magazine they got some good colors.

couple of years i go me and buddy was on a boat and the was patrolling the water and checked us.our license and everything that was law to have on boat like the jackets, horn or whistle, throwing device, etc but that was the last time ive been checked. i no iv va i heard the maryland game wardens like to give va people troubles when fishing the potamac river in colonial beach and so forth. but i never been bothered yet when i was out on my boat.

As soon as it gets away!! that happen to me today. lol but seriously it did. though it wasnt big it might been the biggest in this pond im fishing but everything so far i had to throw back. so far their under a foot. but i found a spot on this pond that looks promising to have any of size it will have to be here. heres is an attachment of what i caught today on a three inch popper. and where ima hit next time i go back to see what lies underneath. i havent hit this spot yet its on the other side of pond notice it when i walked it. most of the pond is was fishing has mainly just a few vegetation like the other pic of the pond

nice post with pics i almost was going to take a pic of my jigs. i no i got the the two tail grub for my spinners just never gave it a shot yet. but quick question bout trailer hooks does the rubber hook stopper that you get when by the pacs does that affect setting the hooks if using it to keep you trailer hook on the assisting hook??

i use the shakey or the finesse jig heads. i want to try it on the senko to elevate it some but i think ill stay with texas rigging. my brother does texas rig with a lil bullet head the crimps on the line to give it some weight, i no youtube has videos that will show you how to rig your worms or if ever in gander mountain their worm packages gives you rigging styles too.

tell me about it. i jumped on it fast that day. i was weary of it cause the pole being like free. but its a im8 6'6 one piece. so me and dude at counter talk me into it. its prob the same pole as for the president combo just it was painted the color of reel and name the xt rod. cause like i said it was only there during the father day sale. and no where else sells and in the catalog the combo comes with the bps rod. but anyways i was only in there for the bps microlight that sells for 49.99. so now i have two my so call bass poles other is the gander mountain tournament combo and no micro light............................yet.

i have the president XT (the purple version)its pose to be the lighter version of the the regular president. not sure sure how much better giving both are ten ball bearings. but i love mine i bought the combo from bps. it came with the pflueger president xt rod. it must have been a father day product cause i cant find the combo no where else stores and online. only the cabela rod ive found as a combo online. i thought it was a steal too for i paid 79.99 for the combo when the reel alone is that price. so far both is holding up. i wasnt sure of rod when first bought it but i think it has good strength to it.will love to put it to the test on a fish instead of snagging underwater branches or those snapping turtles. pulled one of those out that had to be three feet from head to tail.

i never tried anna river it self fished something similar as far as width and style and that was the mattaponi. has decent brim in there caught a few small lmb but of course i was on land and stationary. i want to try it when get a lil boat and travel the river itself. whats the biggest you pulled from anna river by the bridge or the river itself?

i know when i was buying the xraps i would take out the product info from its package and take it to my tackle box but of course i eventually took em out now i try the bill size but most of my are shallow runners from 0-1 to 3-6. so i can tell them apart. i dont think i have any 7-11 yet

what it the difference in im6, im7, and the im8?? my two medium spinners rod is an im7(gandermountain tournament combo) and a im8(pflueger president XT combo). my baicaster is a im6 rod. just wondering whats the difference in them. thank you mike

i know thats why im so glad with the help ive been receiving from everyone. im with anyone saying watermelon seed senko. i caught the one in my pic with it. i was proud my biggest bass to date.round my way i do hear alot bout zoom finese june bug.. i have the shakey in june bug but havent tried it. i hear alot about the bandit louisana shad too. i have it but still learning about cranks myself. i have both the shallow and deep runner.me im trying to get into jigs. me if i like it i buy it my wife was mad at me cause i went from nothing to maybe 35 cranks,poppers and skitter walks counting even the ones i lost(trees always in my way)prob. about 15 different plastics(finesse, shakey heads, senkos, curly tails,) 7 jigs and few spinners. my favorite is one i have even try yet believe or not its the yo-zuri aile killfish. just love the way it looks but i got that for crappie.
